4th Annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge!

OK...I am going to shoot out of the box first this week, and post up my 5 star winner of the week.

This weekend's easy money pick is the Dallas Cowboys minus 7 over the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Dallas is on the verge of NOT making the play offs, they have a solid team, but have had some very disappointing last minute losses. They need this win more then anything in the world right now, to have any chance of making it in the play offs.

TampaBay really sucks right now! This is going to be the easy win that the Cowboys need.

This will also give me another "plus one" in the win column.

Best of luck to black jack and his pick, and good luck to those who are making the weenie wagers this weekend!

Y'all are going to need a sure thing to parlay with Roscoe's selection and I have just the pick.

Go with the Arizona Cardinals at minus 6 1/2 over the Cleveland Browns. The Redbirds are scorching hot, coming off of wins over Dallas and San Francisco and they are pumped up with an outside shot at a playoff berth still a possibility.

The Browns, meanwhile, are beat up after physical games against Baltimore and Pittsburgh. And Colt McCoy is not likely to play. Seneca Wallace (two pass attempts this year) will get the nod of McCoy can't go. Look for the long arms of Calais Campbell and Darnell Dockett to disrupt the diminutive QB's passes. Go Arizona!
GO BLACKJACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice hit Roscoe going with the 'boys.

Time for a weenie dog football challenge update! We have a NEW Leader!!

The weenie chase is no longer tied!

Roscoe's Cowboys pick was another solid winner this weekend. And just like Roscoe said..the Cowboys beat the cheese out of the Bucs, winning by a commanding 16 points

Blackjack suffered a loss this week, with his Cardinals pick. The Cards did (barely) win their game, but they did not cover the 6.5 point spread! Sorry B-J!

****So the current stndings after week 15 are...****

1st place place Roscoe with a record of 10-4-1

2nd place Blackjack with a record of 9-5-1

Can Roscoe hang on to his slim lead, and take home the cookie bone basket??

Will Blackjack make a final run that will give him the crown?

Who will be the top dog this year??

Roscoe is trying to make it 3 years in a row!

Blackjack wants cookie bones!!!

Which weenie is gonna score??

Stay tuned for more weenie adventures in football!!

Continued luck next week weenie boys! One of you two is going to get the cookie bone basket!

Now that I have taken a lead, in this weenie football challenge, I am going to pad my lead over brother blackjack, and put some heat on him!

This week, I am going with the San Francisco 49'ers minus 2 points over the Seattle Seahags!

I am expecting this game to be close until the end, but I see the Niners winning by at least a pair of Field Goals!

Good luck to those who are making the weenie bets this weekend, and a very Merry Christmas to you all!

--Roscoe
Roscoe may have left a crack in the door for me. San Francisco has a week shortened by two days after playing on Monday night and a physical game at that against the Steelers. Plus, Seattle is still mathematically alive for the last wild card berth.

I am taking the Baltimore Ravens to blow out the Cleveland Browns by more than 12 1/2 points. The Angry Birds should come out smoking as they look to secure a home game in the playoffs (finally). Baltimore is 7-0 against Cleveland during the John Harbaugh regime. Colt McCoy is out and Josh Cribbs is questionable for an offense that lacks firepower. Look for Terrell Suggs to have a monster day against Seneca Wallace.

Good luck everyone and Merry Christmas!
Time for a weenie dog football challenge update! Roscoe maintains his lead!!

Roscoe's Niners pick ended up in a tie, since the spread was Niners minus two and the final score was SF 19, Seattle 17. Damn I hate ties!

Blackjack suffered his second straight loss this week, with his Ravens pick. The Ravens did win their game, but they did not cover the 12.5 point spread! Sorry B-J!

****So the current stndings after week 16 are...****

1st place place Roscoe with a record of 10-4-2

2nd place Blackjack with a record of 9-6-1

Roscoe just added a half point to his lead, in this contest. Blackjack is pretty much done here! LOL

Who will be the top dog this year??

Roscoe is trying to make it 3 years in a row!

Which weenie is gonna score??

Continued luck next week weenie boys! One of you two is going to get the cookie bone basket!

Wow, what a disappointing week that was. Baltimore jumped out to a 20-point lead, but then stopped playing. And with Seattle in the lead at one point, it looked like I was primed to even the standings. And what a difference a 1/2 point makes in the line. The 49ers closed as minus 2 1/2 point favorites, which would have been a loss, but Roscoe secured San Francisco at minus-2 to secure a tie. What an anticlimactic way to win the title.

I am out of it so I am mailing it in this week. I am taking Carolina plus 8 points. Here is why: At about halftime, Sean Payton will see that San Francisco is leading St. Louis and there is no way the Saints can move up to the No. 2 seed and a coveted bye. With a playoff game on tap, Payton pulls Drew Brees. Meanwhile, Cam Newton continues his Rookie of the Year campaign with a strong finish and keeps the Panthers within 8.

Thanks everyone for watching the Weenie Challenge all year. Congratulations to Roscoe. I better start shopping for dog treats.
I just realized that its Sunday, and I haven't put in my weenie pick of the week yet! Damnit!!

Akk this New Years stuff...has limited my computer access time!

I know its late but here it is.

My pick of the week is Seattle Seahawks +3 over the Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals aren't playing very well, and they are still training a new QB

Seattle has been playing pretty well, and Marshawn Lynch has been an absolute monster!!

Easy money here folks!

Good luck, and happy New year to you all
