4th Annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge!

And with that...we put an end to another successful weenie dog football challenge!

Blackjack suffered his sixth straight loss this week, with his Niners Pick. The game was really close, and the Niners could have won this game easily, but they made too many mistakes and the Giants were just too much for them this weekend Sorry B-J!

Roscoe's finished the year on a winning note as his UNDER 42 on the Giants/Niners game was a defensive stuggle, just like Roscoe predicted it would be. Final Score was 17-20 (37 total)

****So the FINAL standings after week 20 are...****

1st place place Roscoe with a record of 12-5-3

2nd place Blackjack with a record of 9-10-1

Congratulations to Roscoe for winning this years Challenge! I got word from B-J's owner that the cookie bones should be arriving soon!

I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures of Roscoe and his Brother Kiki tearing through them cookies! heh heh

The winning Weenies will make picks his Superbowl Pick next week, so folks can make some more cash!!

Congrats to Roscoe on another great championship, and props to BlackJack for keeping the pressure on Roscoe all year long!

I can't wait for next years challenge!

Maybe them dogs could have a "special" contest for the numerous proposition wagers? A "Pick six" of 'em sort of thing.

Just for fun, of course, if they dare.

Congrats Roscoe! Now go leave a Giant surprise in your dads slippers.
Indeed, Roscoe has treats on the way. I phoned Craftsteak. I told them rather than throw away the bones of a bone-in ribsteak when they clear one of the tables to box them up and ship them to Frankie so Roscoe and Kiki can gnaw on them.

Sorry, its taken so long to post these up...I've been pretty busy here at work lately.

Anyway.... Here they are...the pictures from this years winning weenie!

This one is Roscoe waiting patiently for the mail man to come. The way he has that red ball in his mouth, it looks like he has two buck teeth! We lauged so hard when we saw him. I just had to take a picture!
LOL

Then finally the mail man, came knocking on the door...he heard Roscoe's loud growls from the door, he just dumped it and ran for the hills.

Here is Roscoe smelling the box, to make sure there weren't any explosives in there.

He gave the "All clear" sign

Now I could get that box open...finally!!

Well what do you know....a box of cookie bones and a doggie bowl of soup!

Roscoe got up on the table and checked everything out real good

He took a liking to that tomato soup bowl. That bowl was cute...it was a soup bowl, and it had a spoon in it, but inside were tomato and cheese cookie bones. It was a great package!!

I let Roscoe pick out one cookie bone from the tool box, so he could get down from the table and enjoy it.

Roscoe didn't want to waste no time getting off the table...he ate it right then and there..LOL

He wanted more soup too! LOL

Brother Kiki got into the act, as well...he went straight for the soup cookies!

The dogs really enjoyed receiving their treats! The guys at 3-dog bakery did a great job with the cookie bone arrangment!

Thanks to Friedmush and Blackjack for sending those on to the Rizzo dogs!

Lets hope that next year, its B-J receiving the treats!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures, and Roscoe and I can't wait for next years challenge!
