7th annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge

Time to get out of this rut...I am going to go with a Turkey Day game this time, and I am taking the Seattle Seahawks +1.5 over the San Francisco 49'ers!

The Seahawks looked pretty damn good last week, and the team is determined to get back into the post season. They need to win this matchup against the niners, and its going to be easy when they let loose "Beast mode" that banged up defensive line.

Easy money here folks.

Good luck to all those making these weenie wagers.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

***Standings Update ***

Good luck and BAD luck for the weenie brothers this week

Roscoe's, Seahawks -3 was a good pick, as the Niners fell apart and lost this game badly

Blackjack's NY Giants -2.5 pick was a dud. Giants had a nice half time lead, but fell completely apart in the 2nd half and lost the game by 2 points

***Standings after Week #13 ***

1st place Blackjack with 6 Wins and 7 losses

2nd place Roscoe with 5 Wins and 8 losses

......And the black weenie now only has a one game lead!

Better luck next week Weenie dogs!

Geez, what happened to the Giants? I was humping the sofa pillow when they were up 21-0, convinced I had nailed my fourth straight convincing win.

Time to put on my weenie dog thinking cap and prepare for Week 14.
This weekend I am going to extend my winning streak to two, with my super pick of the week.

I am taking the New Orleans Saints -9.5 over the lowly Carolina Panthers.

Panthers are banged up, at QB, Tight end and wide receiver. They have no running game, and they are coming to the house of Brees!

The Saints usually load up, and BEAT DOWN on sub-par teams when at home, and this matchup screams "Saint's win big"

You heard it here first.

Good luck to those who are making these weenie wagers this weekend.

Easy win for me this week. The Indianapolis Colts are simply too much for Cleveland. And it doesn't help the Browns that a quarterback controversy is a bit of a distraction. The weather in Cleveland is also expected to clear up by Sunday, taking away a possible equalizer.

Take Indy and give up 3 1/2 points.
***Standings Update ***

BAD luck and WORSE luck for the weenie brothers this week

Blackjack's Indy Colts -3.5 pick was a dud. Colts were down the whole game, and made a nice come back to win the game, but did NOT cover the spread, as they win by merely one point.

Roscoe's, Saint's -9.5 pick, was a real stinker, as the Saint's get bitch whipped by the shitty Panthers! This picked fucked a lot of parlays over the weekend, as nobody thought the shit Panthers would beat the Saint's at home. Saint's really suck this year!

***Standings after Week #14 ***

1st place Blackjack with 6 Wins and 8 losses

2nd place Roscoe with 5 Wins and 9 losses

......And the black weenie hangs on to his one game lead... (for now)

Better luck next week Weenie dogs!

Time for my weenie pick of the week. This time, I am going with the NY Giants minus 6.5 over the Washington Redskins.

Giants have been Jeckyl and Hyde this year, and I think they are due for a great performance, at the expense of the Redskins, who have QB problems, injuries, and no running game. The Skins can't beat anyone right now, they flat out stink. Giant's will take the easy win.

Good luck to those making these weenie wagers this weekend.

Back at you Roscoe with a guaranteed winner.

I am taking Kansas City minus-10 points against the visiting Oakland Raiders. Yeah I know Kansas City has lost three straight tough games. And it's true the Chiefs lost a trap game at Oakland three weeks ago coming off a win over Seattle. But the Chiefs have their backs to the wall and should come roaring back at Arrowhead.

Sorry Roscoe. But you won't gain ground on me this week.
***Standings Update ***

Good luck and better luck for the weenie brothers this week

Blackjack's K.C Chiefs -10 pick was a solid winner, as the chiefs beat the cheese out of the lowly Raiders and covered the 10 point spread with ease

Roscoe's, Giant's -6.5 pick, was also a solid winner, as the G-Men knocked out starting QB McCoy out of the game early, and then beat down on the overrated RGIII to bring home the win

***Standings after Week #15 ***

1st place Blackjack with 7 Wins and 8 losses

2nd place Roscoe with 6 Wins and 9 losses

......And the black weenie hangs on to his one game lead... (for now)

Better luck next week Weenie dogs!

Doggone it, I wasn't logged in a timely manner to get this pick while it was less than a 7-point spread. Still, I will take Detroit minus-7 1/2 points at Chicago.

It's true that Jay Cutler has had yet another disappointing season. So his benching shouldn't be a surprise. But Jimmy Clausen was a NCAA level player, not an NFL player. The players know the team has thrown in the towel. And they aren't going to rally on behalf of Marc Trestman. The Bears can't wait to get this season over.

On the other hand, this game has a lot of meaning to the Detroit Lions. The 7 1/2 point spread should be no sweat even in the cold conditions of Soldier Field.
