7th annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge

***Standings Update ***

Good luck and bad luck for the weenie brothers this week

Blackjack's Carolina Panthers -6 pick was a solid winner, as the Panthers beat up on rookie QB and whipped those Cardinals!

Roscoe's, Steelers -3 pick, was a solid loser, as the Steelers ended up with out running back phenom, Leveon Bell, and were too predictable with their passing game, losing to the Ravens tough defense!

***Standings after Week #18 ***

1st place Blackjack with 8 Wins and 10 losses

2nd place Roscoe with 6 Wins and 12 losses

Better luck next week Weenie dogs!

It's getting late in the Weenie challenge and I'm going for the jugular this week. I am taking Green Bay minus-6 points at home against the Dallas Cowboys. It's true that Dallas has been hot since December but the Cowboys really struggled at home against Detroit. ... In the meantime, Aaron Rodgers had a week to lick his wounds and the Packers figure to be tough at home where the forecast high for Sunday is 19 degrees. Perfect Packer weather for a playoff win.

Good luck, Roscoe!
I am running out of time, and games left, to catch brother blackjack! I need to win, all the rest of my picks from here on out!

This week, I am taking the New England Patriots -7 points over the Baltimore Ravens!

The Pats are real monsters this year, and have been playing lights out! Brady is having a great season, now that he has Tight end Gronk back at full strength, and a great TRIo of wide receivers at his disposal.

I am hoping this is the start of my much needed win streak to end the season on a good note!

Good luck to those who are making these weenie wagers!

Bad luck, and worse luck for the weenie brothers this week

Blackjack's Green Bay Packers -6 bet was a loser, because the Pack won the game, but did not cover the 6 point spread

Roscoe's, Patriots -7 pick, was a loser, as the Pats ended up winning the game, but not covering the 7 point spread

I believe this contest is over....congrats to brother Blackjack for winning this 2014 contest.

I am going to make my pick and see if I can beef up my season stats with a nice win.

I am taking the Seattle Seahawks -7.5 over the Green Bay Packers

Rogers is banged up, and this Seahawks defense is really going to beat the cheese out of him. Dallas defensive line didn't do much damage, to #12, and let him camp out in the pocket for 8-10 seconds, and throw passes all game long, last week, but that is NOT going to happen this weekend against the Hawks!

Seahawks offense is coming to life at the perfect time of the season, very much like they did last year.

Easy money here folks!

Good luck

I believe will be the first time in history that Roscoe and Blackjack wager on the same game. I'm taking the under-46 1/2 points in the NFC championship game.

On the one hand, having two of the top quarterbacks in the league would tilt this to an over pick. But Rodgers looked limited in his ability due to injury last week. And if he is not a lot better, the Seahawk defense will eat him alive. Plus it's loud at that God-forsaken stadium. And the weather calls for 80% chance of rain and winds up to 17 mph. That figures to hinder the passing and kicking games of both teams.

And I like Roscoe's pick this week as you might have determined by my concerns about Rodgers and Seattle defense in previous paragraph.

Let's go weenies!
Frankie,
Are you going to do anything for the up coming Nascar season.
The pool thing last year was pretty good.
Just wondering if your going to get anything together.

thanks
jaz
Congrats to both players on another great season. Post the winning prize package when you get it.

Congratulations to BlackJackPooch for winning this years Weenie Dog Football Challenge!

Waiting for confirmation of an address, so I can ship them gourmet, cookie bones!

JazBro: I hope that ESPN gets back to having a Nascar Fantasy League. I really did NOT care for the new one that Yahoo did, and the one on Nascar.com is weak.

My decision on whether or not, we will have a league this year, will depend on ESPN.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope that they bring it back.
