8th Annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge

Real dogs this week.
I'm blaming my loss on Josh McCown's injury. After a scoreless first quarter, he injured his noggin. Johnny Manziel's entrance into the game changed the whole tempo, beginning with a TD pass and then three turnovers that led to 14 Jets points. From slow and methodical, to fast and sloppy. Ugh
Blackjack's loss was reasonable, while Roscoe's wasn't only a turd, but it was an elephant sized turd. It seems to me that the severity of a loss (elephant turd vs non-turd) should be scored differently instead of both dogs showing only one loss.

RM a turd is a turd. It doesn't matter how big it is unless you step into it and have to scrape it off your shoes.

Here is Roscoe's pick.

Looks like he is getting ready for a colonoscopy.
Pooches should be forced to take their dumps in a litter box, 5 stars, banks and all.
Are y'all ready for a tail-waggin' good pick?

I am bouncing back with a win, taking the Pittsburgh Steelers minus-6 points against the San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco surprised a few people with the ease of victory over the visiting Minnesota Vikings. But the 49ers make the trip to play on the east coast with a game that starts at 10 a.m. California time. The Steelers have the advantage of playing on Thursday night, with three extra days of rest and preparation. Plus, Pittsburgh is the better team. Let's go with Pittsburgh minus-6 points.

What do you have Roscoe?
OK time to chalk up my first win of this season.

This week I am going with the St Louis Rams -3.5 over the Washington Redskins.

Redskins are struggling with Kirk Cousins, while RGIII is out with injuries, RAMS showed how strong they are on both sides of the ball last week, beating up on the tough seahawks last week.

I feel pretty strong about this one.

Good luck to those who are making these weenie wagers, this week.

Week #2 provided the weenie dogs' first winner of the season.

Blackjack's Steelers pick was a clear cut winner as they whopped on those Niners 43-18

Roscoe's Rams pick was horrible, as the Skins made quick work of that team that looked so good beating up on the Seahawks last week. What a let down!

****Standings After week #2 ****

1st place Blackjack Pooch with a record of 1-1

2nd place Roscoe with a record of 0-2

Better luck next week boys!
