Norway is not allowing him to speak to the media so as not to politicize his actions. It's ironic that the right leaning party which has been debating immigration reform in Norway has now dropped their agenda due to the actions of this guy. They do not want to be even remotely associated with him.

Your point is well taken, Chef, except that the blind hatred there was directed at the U.S. government, not against immigrants, although I'm sure that McVeigh and Nicholls had no lost love for immigrants as well.

Where the hate is directed doesn't really matter, it's the fact of the madman/terrorist taking action and causing these deaths. Unfortunately, these attacks occurred in a country which doesn't have the death penalty so he will stay in prison for 20 years (less any political pressure the government gets). Then he will be released to spew his hate to a new audience, oh joy.

I hope and pray you are wrong. If it does happen it is certain that the number killed will be only a fraction of the number of U.S. citizens killed by illegal immigrants. For some reason you never make the distinction between illegal and legal immigration. Only a small percentage of Americans have a problem with all immigration. Most, like me and the people below, welcome those that choose to immigrate here legally because it's the American way and they are much more likely to be good citizens and neighbors.

Yes, I like data very much. Here is some for you from Heather MacDonald who has done research for the LA Times on illegal immigration. The data is from her testimony on Capitol Hill. You want hundreds of individual examples of people killed in the US by illegal aliens. I've got those too. The list is far from comprehensive, but when you add in the all the illegal alien gang members and drug smugglers it's obvious to anyone with half a brain that illegal immigrants have killed thousands of US citizens. Maybe you missed the recent major meth bust in Las Vegas where 10 of the 14 smuglers were illegal aliens. I'm sure they wouldn't kill you if you interfered with their operation. Or maybe you missed the 2 illegal aliens a few years ago that killed a guy with a pipe bomb in the Luxor parking lot. Happy reading you data loving computer forensic expert!
