9th Annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge

Damnit. I almost forgot to make my pick of the week.

I still have some time before kick off , so here it goes.

This week I am taking the Kansas City Chiefs minus 5 points over the shitty San Diego Chargers.

The bolts flat out suck this year and the chiefs have to win and secure the second seed and a bye week for the play offs. Especially since the Raiders lost their top quarterback and will likely lose this week.

Take the chiefs big

Good luck to those who are making these weenie wagers.

--Roscoe.
FrankieRizzo has a lot on his plate these days since Caesars implemented a policy of paying for valet parking starting yesterday. A lot of pissed off motorists taking out their heat on poor Frankie. So I am helping out by providing an update on the standings heading into the playoffs.

Blackjack 10-7
Roscoe 9-7-1

Roscoe has been red-hot since starting the season 2-4. And he closed out the regular season with three straight wins to make this a close contest. Blackjack, meanwhile, picked a solid winner in Minnesota after going through a late-season slump caused by his focusing more on a toy poodle that moved in next door.

Good luck to both weenies in the playoffs!
Its time for my pick of the week!

This week, I am going with the Pittsburgh Steelers -9.5 over the Miami Dolphins.

Steelers have been hit and miss, but they have the talent to put up big numbers and should be able to beat the cheese out of those Dolphins!

Easy money here folks!

Good luck to brother blackjack and any others who are making these weenie wagers!

Happy New Year!

It's time to get my pick recorded. It was really easy to focus this week, with just four games this weekend.

I like the underdogs with points in every game except the Houston Texans. I am taking the Texans minus-3 1/2 points against the Oakland Raiders.

If Derek Carr were playing this would be a whole different ball game. But he's not. The Raiders will have to play their third-stringer Connor Cook, who will become the first quarterback to make his first career start in a playoff game. He goes against the NFL's No. 1-rated defense. Houston isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut, but look for the Texans to run some no huddle to take advantage of a suspect defense and rely on Lamar Miller out of the backfield.

I like the over-36 1/2 points bet in this game, too, because the line is so low and defense can create points. But I'm sticking with the Texans minus-3 1/2 points.

Good luck, everyone!

Time for my 5 star pick of the week! Its playoff time baby!!

This week I am taking the OVER 44 on the Patriots/Texans game!

The Pats have been lighting up the scoreboard week after week, and are showing NO MERCY!!

The Texan's defense has holes and Beli-cheat and Brady will exploit those holes.

They're going to stomp that ass and win BIG.

Good luck to those who are making these weenie wagers

Wow, both weenie picks come in almost simultaneously this week. And both are an OVER pick this weekend.

I like the over-52 1/2 points in the Dallas-Green Bay game. It should be a great game between two explosive teams. And with Aaron Rodgers running a no-huddle offense much of the time, the Packers some times don't chew up a lot clock en route to their scores.

Good luck everyone!

Roscoe's OVER 44 pick on the Pats/Texans game was an easy winner, as the Patriots stomped on the Texans and ran up the score!

Blackjack's OVER 52.5 pick on the Cowboys/Packers game was also a winner as the total score was 65, easily covering the 52

****Standings after week #19 ****

1st place Blackjack with 12 wins and 7 losses

Continued luck next week boys.

Damn you weinnies you actually aren't doing too bad this year.
I have to come up with a GOOD pick this week and hope that Blackjack loses so I can take the title this year by half a game.

This will be my last chance to score the 2016/17 cookie bones and weenie dog cup trophy!

This week I am going with another OVER. The Greenbay Packers have one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL, and they also have a very explosive offense.

The Falcons have great offensive weapons this year, with their top notch receivers and running backs.

The over on this game is HUGE, but I feel it will be easily covered.

My pick this week is the OVER 61 on the Packers/Falcons game. It should be easy money this week.

Good luck to those who are making these weenie wagers
