AC July 20-22 Trip Report

Interesting trip report and loved the photos - thanks. Is it my imagination or is Atlantic City beginning to get more run down than it once was?

We were just at Resorts Tuesday-Friday. Glad I didn't have to fight you for the one quarter 9-6 machine.
We had the great weather. Hit the beach. Pool was open roof. I'll take AC on a summer day 10 days out of 10 over LV.
Ran $100 through the 9-6 machines at Showboat for the free buffet promotion. Didn't lose a penny. Buffet is great but phew! too damn crowded on Wednesday. Hate to see it on Fri/Sat night. Hope you had a corn dog or funnel cake!

I would say that AC is pretty run down, I wouldn't walk down Pacific or Atlantic anytime..
The boardwalk is fine during the day.
Didn't eat outside the casino, I like the pizza and smoothie place outside of the Trop.
I should have gotten the free buffet at SB, I too lost nothing earning my points...earned 60!
Didn't go up to the roof pool on account of the rug rats..

Nice report and great pics. I love the cat colony and always try to take one with me...but they are hard to catch.
I love AC, yes it has it's bad areas...but I haven't seen a craps table in any of the bad sections so I see no need to walk to those spots.
Maybe people who make negative remarks about AC just have not been there enough to know you don't have to go to the bad areas to enjoy all AC has to offer.

Don't forget....if you walk on the boardwalk......look out for those seagulls!!! They can be vicious.
