After rodeo nightly party

I may have an opportunity to get to Vegas in Dec. I recently saw that the a nightly event will occur at the Orleans after the NFR? Is this a set place in the Orleans or do they take over a Bar for this nightly event.

Just thinking that it may be too crowed to stay there!

I can care less about the Rodeo but I am usually in Vegas that same week and will be again this year. I wouldn't worry about crowds. The rodeo is a big deal but its really the only draw in town that week...which is otherwise a slow time of year.

I used to go up regularly at the very end of November and the beginning of December for continuing professional education. The rodeo was always in town. It is the last busy time before the lull that lasts to Christmas. Many of the casinos seem to do things for NFR. I can remember having my CPE at the Flamingo one year. I can remember they were leading Rodeo cowgirls around the conference halls for some event. They also had a special Jack Daniels booth where you got to keep the shot glass.

I have friends who usually play classic rock, but they are able to flip over and play Country during that week.

I don't think there is one particular hotel that hosts parties.
We went last year to introduce my wife to old friends from my former life, they are all still very involved in the PRCA. A couple of the big parties we attended were at the Mirage. "After hours" we went to the SouthPoint, where they were all staying. There was a fair sized crowd that settled in a bar area near the main entrance. I wouldn't say it was "taken over".

They hold a "Tonight Show" type presentation to recap the rodeo, and it is in the Showroom at The Orleans. It might be crowded for an hour or two, but nothing to be too worried about.

I've been to Vegas many times during the NFR. Those cowboys are well behaved and typically turn in somewhat early (for Vegas standards). Daytime is very quiet, and fancier restaurants and some shows go dark for the December "lull".
I though for just a minute that your post was a Rodeo nighty party. Damn.

Yes, people that work on a ranch/rodeo circuit go to bed early and are very drunk by 5PM.IF they drink.

The South Point has free country music entertainment beginning at 10PM each night in the showroom.
