Yeah, I knew I would get hell for this question lol :-)

its not the question, its the way you worded it.

if you have seen for yourself that all the cheap casinos are filled with old people, then why bother asking how old the people on this board who talk about these cheap casinos are?

you already saw for yourself.

but jenaphir.....you go to all the cheap casinos and you are younger than me!

I don't mind answering. I'm 43 and proud of it!
As old as my tongue and a little bit older than my teeth.

Has anyone posted up an age poll yet? Just to see how old people are in this forum. I just thought about this, because I always see people talking about Sam's Town, Binion's, downtown and all these cheap Casinos/hotels.

You forgot to ask the ladies how much they weigh first. LOL.

DonDiego is slightly younger than his favorite Las Vegas lodging, the "El Cortez Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas Like It Used To Be".

franco802's observation is accurate, but only partially so; the old and/or dumpy downtown and/or elsewhere casinos attract near-do-wells, layabouts, malingerers, moochers, wastrels, and ladies-of-easy-virtue as well as old people. This adds what is known as character to these venues, . . . something a young whipper-snapper like franco802 would not understand.

No disrespect here, just a cantankerous senior enduring over decrepitude.

I believe DonDiego meant "ne'er-do-wells" not "near-do-wells". Of course when one reaches DonDiego's ripe old age, one is less likely to worry about such trivial things.

I hear that spelling is the third thing to go. Poor old DonDiego.

Actually, I don't mind at all how you phrased your post (of course, it has been edited so I don't know what you originally said...). Your observation is probably pretty accurate, however. I don't think LVA is a hip-hop, young people's hangout that's for sure!

I like the older casinos downtown because they have better rules (and lower buy-in's) for the Blackjack table game I love to play. And at my age, I am SO over worrying about trying to impress someone with only going to the 'classy' casinos.

And, I sure don't mind sharing my age....I have EARNED every single year of it and ENJOYED most of them!

54.

LMAO, some funny replies in here!! As for myself, I am 35 :-) I also don't like clubs and the whole hip hop thing. But I do like fresh new places. I hate the prices, but it don't cost to look I think after this up coming trip in September, I will book the next one and plan it for just all the old stuff. I WILL go to Binion's, Sam's Place, IP, Polo Towers, Freemont Street etc.... I will do this in honor of all the older folks in here After all, I am a low key guy, I don't drink alcohol and don't smoke. I'm just a quiet guy who enjoys sightseeing

Ahhhh, . . . DonDiego may be in "The City of Schools and Churches" in September also. Perhaps franco802 can buy poor old DonDiego a beer or two. teechur and he will have wheels and are amenable to meeting anywhere for free beer.
DonDiego does get hot but he does not smoke either; actually he doesn't get that hot that often anymore.
I've never shied away from my age. It is only a number - I am 69 and I still think in my head I'm 25! I know I'm not 25 anymore when I am

out partying and dancing etc and the next day my body tells me No Not 25.
