Well John, nice to see you know what a GF grill can be used for.

I've grilled the following on it:

Steaks
Pork chops
Chicken breasts
Pork ribs (country style w/and without bones)
hamburgers
fish
hot dogs (no grill marks or when you lift the lid, I hope you can catch your dogs as they roll off)

Btw, buy the scrubbing pads for GF grill when they are on sale, they come 3 to a box.

George Foreman Grill 101:
Place your hot dogs running parallel to the grills ridges, you know perpendicular to the grease catch tray and you won't have any messy and potentially dangerous hot dog roll-off.
I've found hot dogs with longitude grill marks are as tasty as ones with latitude marks.
Bon Appétit

Laying a hot dog parallel does not promote grill marks as there are none to be had on a GF grill. However, one CAN use another piece of meat to act as a dam and rest the hot dogs against them IF one is so inclined.

Damn, I need to either buy or make some fries for tonight's dinner.
Speaking of fries, yet ANOTHER thing I just realized was that my mandolin slicer has a french fry blade! Albeit they're pretty skinny fries but fries nonetheless. I like 'em.

My kid got the GF with the interchangeable plates a few yrs. ago for a gift. Got tucked away, she finally dusted it off & started using it. Her kids, 7,4 & 2 finally tasted a real waffle. Now they want 'em every Sunday morning. Surprisingly, she now uses it all the time.

What a bummer ......

I ate here last week, ............ and they did not have a 21-Day Dry Aged Cheese Steak on their menu.

Our GF grill still sits in the kitchen cabinet. One of these days I'll haul it out. You have the same stove that we have.
I would assume that the reason your aging process didn't turn out well is that you have to have and maintain pricise levels of temp, humidity, etc. that aren't easy to duplicate at home.

As to the GF, I picked one up years ago on sale. I tried grilling this that and everything. I came to the conclusion that it's best used to do dogs of some sort when the weather won't let me do that outside,

Good Luck!

Hmm, perhaps, but other meats I've aged turned out pretty swell.
I have aeperate fridge downstairs that I use that comes pretty close to correct temp and hum. for the purpose.
