Al Jazeera America is shutting down.

“I’m sure it’s going to be just devastating to all their viewers", Peyton Manning quipped while talking to media after Wednesday's practice. Al Jazeera America was just beginning to get cranking, so this is a shame.

Their primetime coverage drew an average of 7000 viewers in the important 25-54 demographic. Unconfirmed reports note that 6999 of these viewers were named Mohammed, Ahmed, and Omar, while one outlier goes by the name Lurkerposter.

The only winner on this was al gore.

Interesting that they decided to shut down after being sued over their drug story. Makes me think it was bogus & they decided to shut down

Al Gore was a winner long ago after he received $500 million from terror loving Al Jazeera. The current winner is freedom, while the loser is terrorism. It's a good day.

I guess that leaves only Fox News to cater to the terror lovers.

Which station is number 1 in the cable world? Oh, that's right! It's Fox! From where their ratings sit, you can look down a veeeeerrrrry long list of results until you get to CNBC, likely just above Al Jazeera. Somebody must be watching Fox, and not so many watching the likes CNBC and CNN.

Let's all talk about ratings, and forget about Hillary's corruption. No worries, she still has the State Department to cover her ass. No worries.

I can't tell you what a relief this thread is. After Don Diego caused me to panic a few weeks ago by starting a thread announcing that Al Jazeera had cracked the top 100 of cable news with a rating of 0.0 it's good to know Americans haven't lost their values!

Last year Fox News lost over a million viewers. It isn't that many folks chose to leave them, it's that the average Fox viewer is now over 68 years old. So do the math.
