I think some of you have CNBC confused with MSNBC. CNBC is a network that is mainly concentrated on the markets and anything related. Reporting any news is completely secondary to it. They'll cover the headlines once or twice an hour, but not with any type of in depth stuff. Personally, I find it the most informative and complete coverage on the market and anything relevant to the market(s). They often host CEO's and high ups for top company's and some low cap CEO's, a fairly complete variety of business people, I like it.
