Al Sharpton and the Black Lives Matter movement should be proud (POL)

Kentucky Cop Killer Attended Michael Brown’s Funeral, Took Pictures Of Al Sharpton

A Missouri man who shot and killed a Kentucky state trooper during a traffic stop Sunday was an apparent Black Lives Matter sympathizer who protested in the days after the shooting death of Michael Brown last year and attended the 18-year-old’s funeral, social media posts show.

Joseph Thomas Johnson-Shanks, 25, shot Kentucky State Police Trooper Joseph Cameron Ponder after a high-speed chase on Interstate 24 at around 10:30 p.m. local time Sunday.

Johnson-Shanks fired into Ponder’s cruiser at the end of the 10-mile chase, striking and killing the rookie trooper....

Johnson-Shanks also snapped photos of civil rights leader Al Sharpton, who rallied in Ferguson following the shooting.

I'm shocked. Pants up, don't loot.
Yeah, George Wallace used to call those kind of groups "outside agitators." And I would point out that correlation does not equal causation, but that would give jphelan two new words to look up.

But here's the thing: Black Lives Matter does not advocate violence.

Let's contrast that with the Bundy ranch crowd. The Bundys threatened armed resistance. The Bundys bragged about aiming rifles at federal officials. Bundy and his supporters hailed quotes about how the tree of liberty should be watered with blood.

And then two Las Vegas police officers watered the tree of liberty with their blood as it was spurting out of their brains when they were assassinated by a Bundy supporter at a pizza restaurant in North Las Vegas. Those who supported the Bundy crowd while they were threatening violence against law enforcement, including several on this board, have a lot more to do with murdered cops than Black Lives Matters ever will.
I'm shocked. Pants up, don't loot.

Wish me luck, I'm going to hit that little white ball.
"But here's the thing: Black Lives Matter does not advocate violence"

forky never fails to echo liberal fibs

Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon!’ was the chant at the Minnesota State Fair last month.

Similiar lines were chanted at at NYC protest last year, where 2 police were injured by a thrown garbage can

At the Black Lives Matter mob takeover of a NetRoots Nation Presidential Town Hall in Phoenix, Arizona, activists from the group scream explicit calls for violence and chaos, using an Occupy Wall Street style call-and-response technique to advocate “burn everything down,” “shut this shit down,” and “rise the fuck up.” The entire rant was orchestrated by Black Lives Matter Founder Patrisee Cullors, who can be seen enthusiastically pumping her fist and shouting along with every incendiary statement.

Almost all of the 25 police killed this year were by blacks. All forky can come up with is the Bundys which was several years ago. The state trooper who was killed last week, was killed by a BLACK man who was on video at the Ferguson riots

The vast majority of those originally supporting the Racist Cliven Bundy were objecting to the perceived BLM land grab and the "atmosphere of intimidation" created by the BLM. They did not support pointing weapons at federal officials or shooting police officers in Las Vegas. In fact the whack jobs that shot the Vegas cops were originally Occupy Wall Street Protestors and were kicked off the Bundy Ranch because of their extremist views.

Now, as to anyone who actually pointed a gun at federal officials as part of the standoff, they should be arrested right now and hopefully their right to bear arms should be revoked...via a felony conviction for brandishing or terrorist threats. I'm shocked that Federal, State and Local law enforcement allowed that to happen with no repercussions. A very weak response.

But really, it's just like the majority of Black Lives Matter protestors are peaceful and are just objecting to perceived ongoing mistreatment of Blacks by police. They do not support shooting police officers, but there are clearly some violent wackos influenced by that movement's incendiary rhetoric too.

The real shame is the atmosphere, tactics and rhetoric created by these two very different groups does not lend itself to solutions of the underling issues....and I suspect that until the atmosphere changes there will be more police killed.

Instead, we should be asking why the Federal Government owns 85% of the State of Nevada and why are so many Black American men swept up in the Criminal Justice system...those are the real questions. But go ahead Right and Left. Smear away. It's always fun to take the extreme actions of a few and blame the entire other team for that.

Hoops, your premise about Forkie is ludicrous....................assuming that shooting copes isn't considered violence.

I didn't know that we were going to change the subject.............again. Pants up, don't loot.

Can somebody interpret for me what Boilerdude just tried to say ? "shooting copes" ? Is that a new carnival game ?

Perhaps Boiler is off his meds again.
