Left out intelligent, articulate, and never-ending ideas of original topics and thinking. Key omissions.

OK, I'll quit now, dragging myself down here.

Really throw the village idiot into a tailspin with the likes of this (which is really easy to read with anyone over a sevnth grade literary level. There' not even any obfuscation in it, just plain words.

forky never fails to echo liberal fibs

Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon!’ was the chant at the Minnesota State Fair last month...
Yep, some of them chant nasty things. Meanwhile, the Bundy's organize a militia, threaten to murder law enforcement officials, and point rifles at them.

Somehow I don't think those two things are equivalent.

Yeah, George Wallace used to call those kind of groups "outside agitators." And I would point out that correlation does not equal causation, but that would give jphelan two new words to look up.

But here's the thing: Black Lives Matter does not advocate violence.

Let's contrast that with the Bundy ranch crowd. The Bundys threatened armed resistance. The Bundys bragged about aiming rifles at federal officials. Bundy and his supporters hailed quotes about how the tree of liberty should be watered with blood.

And then two Las Vegas police officers watered the tree of liberty with their blood as it was spurting out of their brains when they were assassinated by a Bundy supporter at a pizza restaurant in North Las Vegas. Those who supported the Bundy crowd while they were threatening violence against law enforcement, including several on this board, have a lot more to do with murdered cops than Black Lives Matters ever will.

The vast majority of those originally supporting the Racist Cliven Bundy were objecting to the perceived BLM land grab and the "atmosphere of intimidation" created by the BLM...
Bullshit. The feds confiscate stuff from lawbreakers all the time. Just ask Willie Nelson.

What the right wingers here got wet over was the threat of armed resistance, and that's the only reason the story made the papers.

You know alanleroy, a lot of your posts are starting to feel like reruns, with the same false equivalence theme. Fifty years ago you would have been saying, "MLK and the KKK? Both sides do it."

Oh really? What about the Governor of the Great State of Nevada? You think he got 'wet' over the threat of armed resistance in his state on his watch?

"Governor Brian Sandoval sided with Bundy, saying, "No cow justifies the atmosphere of intimidation which currently exists nor the limitation of constitutional rights that are sacred to all Nevadans. The BLM needs to reconsider its approach to this matter and act accordingly"

Or what about Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore, "who supported Bundy, aiding him with his returned calves, said, "It's time for Nevada to stand up to the federal government and demand the return of the BLM lands to the people of Nevada""

Most people supported Bundy because they think the Federal Government should NOT own 85% of Nevada and much of those BLM lands should be returned to the state and the people....Not because a handful of loonie extremists were pointing weapons at federal officers. Just like many people support Black Lives Matter but don't support cop killers in their midst . You're the one constantly dealing in false equivalence...not me.

And 50 years ago I would have been saying "The Black Liberation Army and KKK...both sides do it". And you would be saying "Democrats and the KKK"......Because the KKK was mostly Democrat then....and you've always got to smear someone.....so naturally it would have been the "Racist Democrats" you'd be applying your typical stereotyping and prejudice to, right?

Equating the 3 or 4 protestors who pointed weapons at law enforcement at the Bundy standoff with 10s of millions of conservatives who want a smaller federal government is just as stupid as equating the cop murdering Black Lives Matter protestor with the entire movement. Yes it's stupid...but some do it because they actually are stupid...others for perceived political gain. I'll let the readers figure out which class you fall into.

I remind forky to read the story at the top of the thread where a blm thug killed a state trooper. How about the blm protest in NYC where 2 cops were injured by a thrown garbage can. Chanting pigs in a blanket is a call for violence. If you really think these examples show that blm is non-violent you are truly blinded.
