Alamo Promo Code

I was able to use a $40 discount code for Alamo last year.

I don't know what is wrong with the Alamo site now but it won't let me
even book any rental no matter what code I have. It is saying I don't
have the proper drop off date. DUH

Does anyone have the $40 discount code??? Thanks

I even tried calling them directly and have been waiting for a "Drive Happy Representative" for over 6 minutes and hung up. I'm not a "Drive Happy Customer" when I have to wait this long.
The alamo website is has been messed up for weeks for me. They updated it and it's a mess I clicked on the side that says feedback several times to let them know but no response. I also didn't get an e mail a few days ago with the reminder that they usually send me.

I, too, think their website is crazy. They asked for "feedback" and I responded saying that the old website was much better!!!

Their rates have come down for me using my same codes so I will, once again, wait it out till we leave on the l7th of January to hopefully find better rates.

I just wish that the reps on the phone had better English speaking skills. Very difficult to understand what they are saying.

If anyone has a $40 off code, I'd still like to have it and thanks!
There for about two weeks you could not even enter Alamo site to check prices. I have complained (use feedback three times) to Alamo ever since the new site went up. They are checking on it. That is the only response I have received for the past three weeks. I finally sent a feedback today and told them the site sucks and I would rent elsewhere. They use to have coupons and they would save you alittle money at times. I have switched to hotwire the only thing you have to realize once you rent that's it. I'm looking for 1/22---1/29 and they are high but the closer it gets they usually dropped in price. However it has now become a principal with Alamo if Dollar and if anyone is close to their price I will drop Alamo for the simple reason of lack of interest on their part.

Glad you replied to their new website. I don't like it either and have complained. Why change a good thing. Whatever programmer did this new site should be fired!!!

We usually go with Alamo since they always treated us fairly. AND the best part is that they have a kiosk to check in and not bother with the counter people...quick and easy.

Do any other rental car agencies have their own kiosks???

I hope Alamo gets it straightend out soon or I may just leave too. Thanks for the input.
