All Kansas Public Schools Set To Close After June 30th

Yet LSU football turns a profit of $60 million per year, most of which is consumed by LSU's non-revenue woman's athletics.

I should clarify the difference between "profit", and what Liberals refer to as what an organization "makes". A profit is what is left over after all expenses are covered, while Liberals often equate "makes" with revenue.

So LSU football makes a sixty million dollar profit, but returns only 6.2 million to the school? Something doesn't add up.
Lurker - the median income in the US is almost $54k, hardly starvation wages. The median income is lower than when Obama took office.

Welcome to Title IX. Football should be taken out of the equation and then equalize the men and women's teams.
I must have missed that while reading the articles. It said that the LSU football team only returns $6.2 million? Are you confusing that with profits of all men's sports?

You don't have to be from Kansas to be concerned about the children unfortunate enough to live under their Republican governance. Also, we don't want to see that kind of failed government spread.

On the other hand, right-wingers who pretend that they are worried because poor Bernie Sanders may not be treated fairly are "concern trolls," that is, insincere phonies. Obviously.

DonDiego supposes the education of the children of Kansas will be funded, . . . maybe at the last minute for the drama, . . . but funded nonetheless. At worst something else may go unfunded. DonDiego supposes a lack of funds for Government expenditures may well become more common as the economy founders in the not-so-distant future.
Government activity may well fail as it runs out of other peoples' money.

Who is forkushV to judge others' motives? DonDiego wants Senator Sanders to be treated fairly; he wants everyone to be treated fairly; DonDiego is a nice guy.
On the other hand, if the "fix is in" for Secretary Hillary it's really none of DonDiego's business how the Democrat Party runs itself; but it'd be appropriate that the American citizens are aware of it so's they can make an informed decision.

Aren't all posters commenting on this matter phonies unless they reside in the State of Kansas ?
Here I am! - and here's the difference:

What a load of crap. First, why would just about any conservative care what happens with Bernie and secondly, who made you such a perfect judge of people and how they care? Oh that's right, the internet. PFFFTT!!

Actually, I would personally would feel bad for him if he lost the nomination unfairly. Why? Because I think the man has heart and 100% sincere in what he says, he's probably the only one who is that sincere from either party.

"concern troll" ,how dumb.

Just thinking here, in my little area of the world folks keep bitching about spending money on schools. However, nothing ever seems to get better after how many billions of dollars have been spent over the 30+ odd years since I went to school.

One can't just be blaming the republicans, as they haven't had been in power for 30 years straight...
