I just saw an all you can eat ad on TV from Olive Garden for $8.99 for unlimited pasta and salad.
How can this be a deal?
But they make it look so enticing in the add with a whole bunch of different pasta/sauce combinations.
Perhaps when I was in my teens or twenties, I could have really gorged myself and found this a deal. I'm guessing most people will be filled up after a bowl of pasta, a salad and some bread.
I've recently lost 45 lbs. just by watching portion sizes.
I'm also guessing there are no dogie bags for the all you can eat special, but I could be wrong. (Perhaps Noahcat can sneak in some of her buffet Ziplocks!)
I'm guessing there's not too many mega eaters left that will get EXCEPTIONAL value from this deal. Does this constitute false advertising?
What about other all you can eat deals? Does anyone see any real prizes, nationally or in Vegas?
