If you think that to be strange, check the ages of the U.S. Senate. The rough stats are these....7 are over 80. 4 more are 75-80. 13 are 70-75. Another 18 are 65-70.
Our leaders are 42% over the accepted retirement age. My biggest complaint with what was offered us in the last election is that they were both SS eligible. Really, that's the best we got? Don't get me started on the Supreme Court.
Term limits and a retirement age are needed for all offices AND for the Supremes. How's this for a start.....no term can start after age 70. Then we can deal with pension and health care for our employees too.
