The AMA Reported Obamacare is a Success

I have deleted the meme from "Occupy Democrats" and left the quote and the link to The Journal of American Medical Associations report stating the ACA as a success.

It appears several here do not realize that JAMA is the Journal of The American Medical Association.

It is the official journal of the AMA and is peer reviewed by members of the AMA

Conclusions and Relevance The ACA’s first 2 open enrollment periods were associated with significantly improved trends in self-reported coverage, access to primary care and medications, affordability, and health. Low-income adults in states that expanded Medicaid reported significant gains in insurance coverage and access compared with adults in states that did not expand Medicaid.

So now that is only contains information only from the AMA and nothing from Occupy Democrats does that make it any more true.

Obamacare is a success for the few doctors who accept it. Many consumers have seen their costs for medical insurance increase, but some fewer have seen it decrease. Point in fact, a Doctor friend of mine in California had his insurance go from $3300 to $800 for the couple. Others who never had medical insurance now have it. Consumers who have catastrophic issues can now get care. Of course much of this is funded from your taxes.

Taxes have been impacted by Obamacare as well. Taxes in many areas have increased, mostly impacting those with incomes over $70,000.

All of the uninsured in this country have had free healthcare forever courtesy of every U.S. citizen who pays taxes. I saw it first hand for 33 years riding on a fire engine.

We can't refuse anyone a ride to the hospital. Consequently for something as minor as a sprained ankle we would take them to the E.R. where they would receive treatment at a much higher rate than going to a PCP and Joe taxpayer picks up the tab.

The guy that cuts my hair just had a 12 day hospital stay courtesy of the taxpayers. It was heart related. One week ago he ran out of meds. The pharmacy refused to give him a refill. So he dials 9-1-1 for chest pains and goes back into the hospital for two days and leaves with a script.

I am glad people are being forced to get insurance. Or better yet just go to a single payer system. I am paying $1200.00 a month. I doubt my taxes would go up that much.

Who do you think pays for Medicaid & the over 20 exchanges that are losing money?

I would put more stock in JAMA

Politifact.com has yet to find an Occupy Democrat's statement that they could judge to be "True".
And over half of what they've assessed is either "False" or "Pants on Fire (False)"

Well I can only compare the Obamacare Program and it's success to the job that Obama has done leading our great country. While on his watch he wants give grants to convicts to better there education. Obama as a leader is poor at best. Only benefit in educating our convicts is so they get smart enough to get caught again. Like he said in Kenya if he could run again he would get voted back into office. Jimmie Carter has become my my idol over the last 7 1/2 years compared to Obama...I just cannot say enough about him.....
