The AMA Reported Obamacare is a Success

My youngest grandson just completed his little league baseball season this past weekend. They lost most of the games they played this year, and lost every game they played this past weekend. They all got cool little pedestal trophies, and the coach told them all what a successful season they had.

So you're saying Obamacare is just like a bad Little League team? A few minor successes here and there and everyone gets a pat on the back and a cool little pedestal trophy? Ok. I can see that. Unfortunately, last place isn't good enough. We want winners. But how are you going to explain that to a grade schooler?

Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. When you lose, try to do better next time. If you do your best and still lose, be proud of doing your best.

...and when your best negatively affects millions of people, you learn that doing your best sucks.

Not surprised Bruce ignored that and swerved in different directions. He's a dedicated pimp for the whore.

Having said all of that the thing that gripes me about republicans is they seem to always have heartburn with everything but they never offer any solution. My God just look at the GOP field for president, it is ridiculous.

Come debate time they will be tearing each other to shreds the when somebody wins the primary he will be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

5 Former Governors, 3 sitting Senators, a Billionaire Businessman and a world class neurosurgeon. Sounds like a well rounded field and healthy competition to me. Open debate is a hallmark of democracy. I look forward to it...I hope the moderators don't throw softballs and that the best person wins.

I look forward to the Democrat party exercising this American tradition too. I wanna see what Bernie has to say and how Hillary responds. Remind me when are those Democrat debates scheduled???

None of that on its own impresses me at all.
.

I understand that. I'm just pointing out they are for the most part formidable people with at least as much or more experience as our current president when he took office. That's in response to those who are calling the debates a 'clown show'.

It's not like Kim Kardashian or some Reality TV Star is participating. Oh wait a minute. But seriously, there's a reason political debate has such a long and storied history in this country...It weeds out those who are weak in thought.

I wish they'd go to a true Lincoln-Douglass Format for the Presidential Debates. Two opponents ....Toe to Toe. One candidate speaks for 60 minutes. The second goes for 90 minutes. Then the first gets a 30 minute rejoinder.

I agree and have to say I'm a little taken aback by the number of completely closed minds, I mean why watch if your mind is already made up. I mean I fully expect it from the village idiot who plans on sitting around slapping his own head(who, I'm certain is incapable of any type of independent thinking/thought), but some of the others...well, I guess I shouldn't say I'm shocked. Seriously?, having a party with popcorn and everything? Never mind. Again, what's the point if your mind is that closed already.

Even tho there's pretty much 0% chance of me voting for Hillary, I AMlooking forward to hearing everyone, both sides/all sides speak and see how they handle the debates. One person who intrigues me, I guess 'cause I know nothing about but is getting a good bit of press not to mention a respectable following (on a small budget no less) is Bernie Sanders.

I really hope the debate doesn't turn into an out of control yell fest with I could see happening if the mod loses control. I wonder if they have any type of controls if that starts to happen.

MOD: Mr Trump, Gov. Bush and Sen Cruz, that will be a 60 second time out, go stand in the corner..

To each his own I suppose, SIGH...

I can name several....but how about this?
(Raise your hand if you think these efforts did not benefit our country and specifically our veterans.)

As a Senator on the armed services committtee, Hillary introduced the "Heros at Home Act" which provided additional aid to returning injured veterans from Iraq - specifically those suffereing from brain injury. She also championed legislation to increase military survivor benefits from a paltry 12k to 100k.

3. Scot Walker. While the rest of the country is in recovery mode, Wisconsin has been going south under his leadership. And so many of his former associates keep on getting convicted of crimes.

Good thing none of them has a server! That would be the worst.

So here's a grand Irony for you. Although that '$70 Million Dollar' Whitewater investigation Forky keeps bitching about failed to bring charges against the Clintons it did uncover major wrongdoing with many of their former associates. Scott Walker's got nothing on them! But of course, we don't attack people in the country based on the crimes of their 'former associates', right? That would be guilt by association and very un-American.

"15 other persons were convicted of more than 40 crimes, including Bill Clinton's successor as Governor, who was removed from office.[43]
Jim Guy Tucker: Governor of Arkansas at the time, removed from office (fraud, 3 counts)
John Haley: attorney for Jim Guy Tucker (tax evasion)
William J. Marks, Sr.: Jim Guy Tucker's business partner (conspiracy)
Stephen Smith: former Governor Clinton aide (conspiracy to misapply funds). Bill Clinton pardoned.
Webster Hubbell: Clinton political supporter; Rose Law Firm partner (embezzlement, fraud)
Jim McDougal: banker, Clinton political supporter: (18 felonies, varied)
Susan McDougal: Clinton political supporter (multiple fraud). Bill Clinton pardoned.
David Hale: banker, self-proclaimed Clinton political supporter: (conspiracy, fraud)
Neal Ainley: Perry County Bank president (embezzled bank funds for Clinton campaign)
Chris Wade: Whitewater real estate broker (multiple loan fraud). Bill Clinton pardoned.
Larry Kuca: Madison real estate agent (multiple loan fraud)
Robert W. Palmer: Madison appraiser (conspiracy). Bill Clinton pardoned.
John Latham: Madison Bank CEO (bank fraud)
Eugene Fitzhugh: Whitewater defendant (multiple bribery)
Charles Matthews: Whitewater defendant (bribery)"

You need to take a close look at those bills, and the three others that she "championed" for our vets. They help a very small group, if any, and are all fluff. Politics as usual.
