The AMA Reported Obamacare is a Success

On a side note, I've found a person I could really get behind as a Presidential Candidate...and he's....wait for it...a Democratic and a Centrist!

https://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/06/opinion/america-deserves-a-servant-leader.html?_r=0

"Too many of our political leaders are putting party before country, power before principle and cynicism before civility. The common purpose that created this great nation, which has united us in difficult moments, has gone missing.

...how can you be a genuine public servant if you belittle your fellow citizens and freeze out people who hold differing views?

Save for the most rabid partisans, most people don’t want one-party rule. They want Democrats and Republicans to work together. ...Our country deserves a candidate courageous enough to select a member of the other party as a running mate. Americans who are tired of politics as usual should demand a clear answer to a simple question from every candidate: What will you do to unite all of us?"

My youngest grandson just completed his little league baseball season this past weekend. They lost most of the games they played this year, and lost every game they played this past weekend. They all got cool little pedestal trophies, and the coach told them all what a successful season they had.

So you're saying Obamacare is just like a bad Little League team? A few minor successes here and there and everyone gets a pat on the back and a cool little pedestal trophy? Ok. I can see that. Unfortunately, last place isn't good enough. We want winners. But how are you going to explain that to a grade schooler?

3. Scot Walker. While the rest of the country is in recovery mode, Wisconsin has been going south under his leadership. And so many of his former associates keep on getting convicted of crimes.

Good thing none of them has a server! That would be the worst.

So here's a grand Irony for you. Although that '$70 Million Dollar' Whitewater investigation Forky keeps bitching about failed to bring charges against the Clintons it did uncover major wrongdoing with many of their former associates. Scott Walker's got nothing on them! But of course, we don't attack people in the country based on the crimes of their 'former associates', right? That would be guilt by association and very un-American....
No.

It's completely legitimate to evaluate politicians based on which criminals they asociated with, and in particular which criminals they hired and promoted. It speaks to their character and their judgement. And Chris Christie, Rand Paul, Scott Walker, and Jeb Bush all have issues with that. But Hillary Clinton not so much.

And Republicans spent $70 million of our money on an investigation of the Climtons based on pure guilt by association. Let's not forget that. And they found nothing on the Clintons. Let's not forget that either.

Here's some guilt by association for you...

On a more serious note, I'm not sure I would rate obama up at the level of a bad little league team. He may qualify, but I hold my opinion for another time.
On explaining to the grade schoolers, it's explained with clear and reality based information. That concept has never hurt American citizens in the past. If a person isn't able to meet up with expectations, then provide opportunities to acquire new or improved skills in order to meet those expectations. If the person for some reason is unable to acquire those skills, it's time to provide feedback, and offer options for different activities witt different expectations. Some folks just can't play baseball very well, but are excellent at football. No point in pretending otherwise. In any case, don't fill those folks full of BS about how capable they are when they do not demonstrate those capabilities. If that person refuses to acquire those skills, brush em off. They're not worth the investment of time, training or confidence. Being honest, direct and sincere is not harmful. It's worked for a long time. Try it. Reality tends to pay off better that fantasy.
Only a fool might think...."Hey, you. You can't really do what you're doing very well but I don't want to hurt your feelings, so I'll let you be the boss."

So you are saying that this Josh Duggar person is bad because he is posing with all these politicians?
