what jammin said about all audiences....I was just getting ready to say that someone sent me the email with tickets a few months ago....it was not hyped or promoted anywhere...it just showed up in my email. This is pretty much how you find out about cool stuff, randomly and last minute....usually these type things aren't sought out...that being said, another way a lot of promoters do things these days is through their facebook page...but it seems to me, they want to do this stuff last minute and quietly as to not get huge bothersome work and it doesn't take much effort with tons of email and people asking questions when last minute.

also most tapings are free because they are painful and long...just so you know.

My easiest gets were walking up last minute to david letterman in nyc and getting in last second...and most efficient and nice were regis and kelly in nyc, we had reserved tickets for this.

Bob barker, price is right was nightmare did it twice with guests because he was retiring....biggest regret not going to wayne brady's lets make a deal when in vegas, moved to la now and I watch that daily if home now and he really did good with that. Along with Steve Harvey's Family feud. They have brought back the game show host.

We also happened upon Rocky 6 extras so I took my hubby to this as a treat...they were nice and sly was actually very nice and humble and caretaking. Was good to see that.

Coolest cat and celeb aura without being pompous goes to Gene Simmons and Tony Bennett....both carried themselves extremely well, while maintaining their space and happiness.

scariest looking, carrott topp...of course.

People hanging out in bars with regular people...brett michaels and vince neal...

The motorcycle family were chill people during their height at the airport. Hubby has also sat beside starr jones and montel williams in airplanes.

I kind of ended up having my own conversation there, but to answer your question...go to whatever taping or tv station site that you want to attend tapings and it will usually say "attend a taping" if they make it easily available to anyone, otherwise they use the audience type places or have contests on their facebook sites, etc....

Meet any jerks/a-holes?

You know that is a good question and oddly, no....can't say that I have.

That is what was cool about Tony Bennett though, he kind of strolled and nodded, smiled...then his wife forgot something, so they turned and went back to elevator. He and Gene really had their years of being a celeb, but still wanting to be able to be among real people, down to a science.

I have met dozens more people here and there, but never seen anyone inappropriate really. With so many people in Vegas and so many "types" of people, it really is true that no one is special...there are so many types of people and money that "stars" just aren't that cool and most can be unseen unless they want to be seen, so only people who want to be seen are, lol. It is almost like a nyc or la thing here too. I actually sat at a blackjack table with matt damon right after that gambling movie years back...he was continuing to play until a tourist ran him off. My dad played with chris tucker right after his big hit years ago too.

My most bothersome thing where I felt disrespected was the disorganization at TPIR. Our time is valuable as well. But almost all tapings are a pain in the a..ss.

Oh, the pawn shop, regular employees were very disrespectful and the "celebs" were no where to be found of course...took two older ladies in there and they had brought some trinkets for evaluation being fans of the show...some old, fake costume jewelry, but it was old and the other some old money their brother had....they stood in line and the person was very rude and just said "we don't look at that kind of stuff"...very curtly and rude....these were older lady fans that came to the "pawn shop" as fans of the show...that is what is paying your bills at the moment...two more minutes of at least politeness would have been better served for the cheap tshirt, not pawn, shop, lol.
