Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell (R) convicted today of 11 counts of corruption. His wife convicted of 9 counts of corruption.

He turned down a plea deal that would have allowed him to plead guilty to 1 felony, and his wife to walk out of court with no charges.

So another crooked Republican governor will be sent to the big house. Nothing new there. Happens all the time. Here is a short list of other Republican governors that will soon see an indictment and eventual conviction for corruption:

Rick Perry - TX (already indicted)
Chris Christie - NJ (under investigation)
Scott Walker - WI (just a matter of time)
Rick Scott - FL (should already be in prison)

and let's not forget about SC governor Mark Sanford and his "Appalachian Trail" bullshit.

There is probably more corrupt Repub governors I could add to the list, but it's hard to keep up with all the corrupt GOP governors and their various crimes. It would be a full time job !

I would also like to compile a list of ALL the corrupt Republican politicans thruout the USA, but I don't think AC would appreciate me burning up dozens of pages of his bandwidth !

Will be interesting to see Faux Entertainment Channel put a positive spin on the good ex governor of Virginia.

I think the Governor of North Carolina, Mike Easley, was also convicted of a felony in 2010. I'm not sure what party he was, or does that matter??? If your point is about the large number of scum bags in politics then you are spot on. If you think the party matters then you have bumped your head.

I was monitoring the progress of George Ryan (R), former IL governor, and his 6 year stay at the Terre haute Federal Prison.

Like I said before....keeping up with all the corrupt Republican politicians is like a full time job. So many of them out there....so little time.

That is being done by a Republican prosecutor and a Republican judge, both from San Antonio in Bexar county, not Travis County. And no, seeking justice is NOT wasting taxpayer money.

So you aren't denying that you are repeating a blatant lie? At least the DA took responsibility for her actions, pled guilty and did her jail time.
