Another Terrorist attack

Another terrorist attack yesterday by a muslim immigrant from a terrorist country - and obama wants more unvetted people in.

But Trump promised to stop these. Where was he?
He's too busy protecting the flag to worry about people.
I heard it was a peaceful protest.

If this thread refers to the stabbings and automobile collisions with pedestrians on the OSU campus the immigrant in question had been thoroughly vetted and granted "permanent residence" status by the United states Government under the leadership of The Obama. [One site which DonDiego perused stated that he had been granted "temporary permanent residence" status, but as DonDiego cannot determine what that could possibly mean he did not employ that term.]

Here is the plan for the immediate future as put forward by the soon-to-be-departed Obama:

Oh well, there's bound to be a bad egg or two in a basket that large. DonDiego supposes those lofty goals may decline somewhat.

DonDiego suggests maybe it's time to alter the goal of admitting ever-increasing poorly-vetted refugees from areas of the globe in which the citizens wish the destruction of the United States. Instead he suggests concentrating on admitting new immigrants based upon what they can add to the US society and economy, . . . instead of what the US citizens can provide to them.
Oh and vet them too, just in case ! Fr'instance, if their religion includes decapitation of non-believers it might be best to not admit them.
But then pro old DonDiego is old-fashioned that way.
It was another 'lone wolf', the hardest kind to "identify and neutralize", according to what I read. Glad he was "neutralized" quickly.

Had this guy been a born and bred American citizen, hoops2 wouldn't have had an item to post.

A "temporary permanent resident" is one, often pursuing some level of education, who is granted residency in the US on a 'temporary permanent'. It is stipulated that during the education period he/she return to his/her country for a short period of time, some 30 days or more, then return and continue the specified education program. Some of our doctors doing a medical residency or fellowship had to do this. I do not know if this was stipulated by the student's country or the US. Probably depended upon the particular program under which he/she was accepted for the training. I don't know the full conditions/contracts involved, whether they could stay after they finished their training or had to return, or could remain a specific amount of time require to gain US citizenship. Lots I don't know.
We'll soon get to see how President Trump deals with these kinds of situations. Is he going to be thoughtful and target the problem? or will he embrace Hoops' philosophy of stereotyping millions of people in the US? I honestly don't know.
Considdering that almost all terrorist attacks & attempted attacks are by muslims & unvetted muslim immigrants doesn't pj & company think the muslim community needs to be monitored?

I didn't know that the president elect had such powers.

Considering your question's premise is complete bullshit, I don't feel inclined to answer.

And we can bet Hoops' opinions of vetting and profiling don't apply to groups who have committed far more terror attacks in the US....and have been especially motivated since the election.
