Sometimes you just want to GET away from the hum drum of every day life,drink a little too much, act a little crazy, and escape. The poor economy with much less disposable income is the main reason people are not coming,or spending less when they do come. Bob

I agree, in fact I think that very few understand the odds. What they do understand and notice is how much time the average $20 bill lasts. Those that have been regulars get a feel for this and for how much play they are getting for a giving amount of gambling money per trip. As the house edge increases, they feel it and eventually they get to a tipping point where the cost of this entertainment is too high. Couple that with the fewer good deals, cheap eats and rooms and pretty soon they decide that "it isn't as good as it was in the old days" and they stop coming.
