Any one going to be in Vegas this April?

We are thinking of April 7 to 14 or April 14 to 21

We are taking my SIL...It will be her first vacation without my Brother. Yes they have been to Vegas with us a few times. I'm trying to think of things to do that we have not done before. Kinda hard since they have been there at least 3 times with us.

Just a few Ideas;
Red rock canyon

Fremont street east (artsy stores a few lounges and if you watch the show on the history channel American Restoration has a store front)

A store that sells unique sodas and hard to find candy called rocket fizz (9410 w sahara #120 at the village square)

Pinball hall of fame on tropicana

Eat at the peppermill

Broadacres Marketplace (2930 North Las Vegas Blvd) that's on a fri-sun thing

Hope this helps
Hey sheltie, we'll be out there march 31 - April 5 so we'll just miss you. I don't have any suggestions for new things to do, we just do the same stuff over and over and I love it. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

It does help. A lot of places we have not seen.. What is Broadacres Marketplace?

I've been wanting to do freemont street East. Is it better to do at day or night?

Aww Beth I wanted to go that week but my boss won't let us have off the first or last week of the month. Accounting you know

You know the country awards are April l st. If you like country music you should head to Freemont street. A few years back we saw lots of Country singers and bands down there.
Broadacres Marketplance is kinda like a swap meet on steroids. To give you an idea of what it's like I have attached a link belowto the homepage. When your there clock in maps on the left side of the web page

Broadacres Marketplace

OOOps, forgot to answer your other question about freemont street east.

If you like quirky shops then go during the day. The night time is more for the lounges and lights. They have a number of restored neon signs on freemont street east. I suggest afternoon before 5pm since that is when some of the stores close. Also on the f2nd weekend each month they have vegas streats with live bandds, food truck, and artists selling there work. I think they also have something on the first friday each month too.
Thanks bjammin...
Thanks bjammin...

hey here in the midwest they did a news segment on Rocket Fizz, posted the link on the paid side

National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Convention April 14-19. Brings about 100k people to visit and really clogs things up around the convention center area, flights fill up, hotels and restaurants, etc. which also means rates might creep up that week.

Mr & Mrs Blade (and Chewy) will likely be in attendance
