Anybody interested in a purchase offer on the Clippers?

What is the subordinate employee's name? I missed that.

Forkbush you have the most closed mind it is amazing to me, just change the words black and white it is simple. Larry Johnson is equal, to say someone like Larry Bird saying we should have an all white league. GET IT!!!!!!!
Of course. But it isn't at all equivalent to a team owner telling a subordinate to practice racial discrimination.

But actually, I have no idea what Mr. Johnson said or why. I'm guessing he's being benghazied on hate radio, and no one else cares much.

Was George Costanza a subordinate to George Steinbrenner? (Funny. Worth clicking on. Really.)
"But actually, I have no idea what Mr. Johnson said or why."

For someone who brags about his internet research skills, you don't know know what he said in a tweet.

So here it is

Larry Johnson@TheRealLJ2

Black people your Focusing on the wrong thing. We should be focusing on having our own, Own team own League! To For Self!!

I am sure you will find some twisted logic to rationalize this

You know hoops, I'm not required to google every obscure reference that you make. But I found him, so let's compare and contrast.

  • Mr. Sterling is a white supremacist, while...
  • Mr. Johnson is a NOT a black supremacist, is he?

  • Mr. Sterling explicity advocated racial discrimination, while...
  • Mr. Johnson advocated black separatism - in basketball - in reaction to Donald Sterling.
(And they aren't at all the same, any more than the Jim Crow South was the same as the separatist Marcus Garvey's Back To Africa movement.)

  • Mr. Sterling ordered a subordinate to practice racial discrimination, and as the owner of the Clippers, has the power to enact his beliefs throughout the entire organization, while...
  • Mr. Johnson didn't order anyone to do anything, and as a Knicks community relations exec, has the power to order a hot dog at MSG without standing in line. I think.

    Textbook false equivalence.

  • forky is selling pretzels again

    • Mr. Sterling is a white supremacist, while...
    • Mr. Johnson is a NOT a black supremacist, is he?

larry johnson has made a number of comments when he was playing showing his racial bias

    • Mr. Sterling explicity advocated racial discrimination, while...
    • Mr. Johnson advocated black separatism - in basketball - in reaction to Donald Sterling.

Thee is no difference between a blacks only league and a whites only restaurant - both are examples of discrimination

Mr. Johnson didn't order anyone to do anything, and as a Knicks community relations exec, has the power to order a hot dog at MSG without standing in line. I think

As a Knicks vp he can ordera lot of things. For example he could choose to hire only blacks; steer money to black youth groups for example

If white people are held accountable for stupid comments, then blacks should be held to the same standard

Assuming you're telling the truth - always a dicey proposition with you - was I supposed to google that too? Sheesh, the guy was a star DURING THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION, and I haven't watched a single NBA game in years.

And white supremacy is a creation white racism, while black separatism is a reaction to white racism. Seriously, you can't see that?

    Dodging again I see.

Hoops is again exposing the truth, proving that he must be racist.

You have said that the police should be able to target suspects based on the color of their skin, and you have said that black workers tend to be shiftless.

Dude, I don't think that you're a very strong character witness.

Is it racist to point out that blacks as a group underperform in school when compared with whites and Asians? Does Forkie believe that this group is terrible in school then suddenly becomes wonderful employees?

I agree that blacks have a bunch of disadvantages, but that doesn't change their performance facts. Top performing blacks spend little time on excuses and lots of time working hard and improving themselves.

Shiftless? Nope, I never used that word.
