Anyone In Vegas Right Now?

We were supposed to be in Vegas for XMAS but Faye's daughter changed her mind and didn't fly in from IL.

We haven't been to Vegas in almost a year, and I'm really starting to get the urge to go. Even Faye's care giver is chomping at the bit. She saw what the god life was when we got her an adjoining room at the Siverton. She got to eat like she never ate before....and G-d bless her.....she never left a thing on her plate. She finished EVERY breakfast at the Sun Dance Cafe, which I can't even do. When she ate with us at Twin Creeks, I thought she died and went to heaven when she ordered a rack of lamb...something she had never had in her life. When it was delivered to the table, her face it up like a XMAS tree! LOL!

Well, we're scheduled to try and get there in January and I sure hope it takes place. I don't think I can go another month without a trip there!

How does Faye weigh into this decision? Is she champing at the bit for a trip to Silverton?

At Aria right now after 2 nights at Vdara. Have been to Sam's Town, Dog Fancier's park, Capriotti's off Harmon where they were out of turkey! Thank you Italian sub. Tomorrow is laundry and a move to the Mirage. Probably Chipotle then Sonic for happy hour milkshakes.

Of course she is with or without her daughter coming to town. She's calling the Silverton today to see what would fit in our schedule.

Weather is beautiful but too many people all wanting to be in the same place. Silverton was very crowded yesterday.

I did Silverton buffet last night. The pasta station was terrific. Won on the Buffalo game, lost on WOF. Last night on the 19th floor of Mirage, then off to Oxnard.

Was at the Silverton on Monday. The place was packed. The buffet was pretty good.
At the airport right now and am heading out a winner. Just took a bump for $600 for the wife and I.
That will be used for our next Vegas trip.
Already looking up rates while sitting at the airport.
