anyone tried uber or lyft in Vegas

Just wondering what the cost is to use their service...from airport to a strip hotel ?

I read a report that is was over $70.00 - but Uber said that cost will decrease as they get more drivers.

Has anyone tried it ?, and what did you pay ?

I am visiting Vegas in February and was wondering if it is worth it.

Blonde4ever did a report on Lyft a couple of monthes ago. Maybe if you researched her name you could find it.I remember she liked Lyft.

had some friends that just got back, and they felt like they paid about half......liked it!

I used it all weekend from Bally's to various strip and off strip locations (Sept 18-21). It's great, especially bc you get free rides from referrals and also by now they should have designated pick up/drop off locations at each hotel. (That was my only complaint; being dropped off in weird locations at Wynn, TI. etc..... It was so new in Sept.)

I'm happy to help Andrew. Uber & Lyft have fare estimates on their webpages. This is an example using Uber's X cars (cheapest ride) from McCarran to Bellagio, $19 tops. Fares could be higher on busier days or for premium cars (when X cars are not available).

just an fyi on Uber, I used it when I flew into Chicago and needed a ride to Tinley park. (a typical fare runs about $100) I asked for the Uber X (the cheap one) and got ripped off to the tune of $146.00. Long story real short, ask up front what the fare is going to be, if they don't know or won't tell you, drop them like a bad habit.

And what would the fare be if you said "no tunnel"?

i.e. Thursday and Friday I am sure more people are arriving = less cars.
