Anyone watch Pawn Stars?Las Vegas post for me,ONLY.

The people that they bring as "experts" are mostly local people.

https://www.hulu.com/pawn-stars
Johnny: toys.
Rebecca: books.(Gawd,she is hot).
Mark:he is the curator of the Clark County museum.
Stuart: Autographs.
Jessee: guitars/stringed instruments.
"The Count": Cars/trucks and bikes.
Brett: Fine art appraiser.

I didn't know that Johnny's Toy Shack was inside Neonolopis, could be just above The Heart Attack Grill.

I saw the Pawn Shop from the bus.
Rick Dale's place? Not yet. I'd like to have a few beers with Kowboy.

" Kowboy is the shop's resident grouch and can be a handful. While he may be rough on the outside, he
is a true craftsman at heart and takes pride in everything he restores"
I am a curmudgeon,too...... crusty, ill-tempered, and usually old man.

I have time.
Just a little while longer to wait B-4 my plane goes to a Foreign Country.
'Vegas,Baby!

The guy that does sports/sports autographs on the Pawn Stars opened a store also in the Neonopolis right behind Dennies and across from the toy store. Everything was pricey (IMHO) but still very cool to walk around and see.

weggie
I never could find that toy store.

I thought it was on Fremont Street down by the El Cortez ?

Rick
I watch Pawn stars every now and again, but it's only for the stuff that's brought in. Those guys quit tryin' to sell whatever stupid little thing the writers drew up for the shows. It's embarrassing IMO.

I have walked by that pawn shop dozens of times in the past on my trek from Fremont St to Dona Maria's. That place has a great breakfast and the tamales are incredible. Dona Maria's, not the pawn shop. They now charge an admission to get into that tiny place. What a joke. AND this past March I actually saw a line of a dozen people waiting to get in. NEWS FLASH IT'S JUST A PAWN SHOP!!!! It's like Dana Carvey said "you can go to the store and buy a grapefruit. Any grapefruit, then give this grapefruit it's own TV show. After 2 years, take this grapefruit to a mall, and people will line up to see this grapefruit that is on TV. BUT IT IS JUST A GRAPEFRUIT!

Rick

From what the site shows,it's ABOVE The Heart Attack Grill. Hard to tell.
I would like to meet Rebecca.
Johnny? Yeah.
Kowboy is more my red neck style, anyway.

Yes,I saw the line to get into that Pawn shop. Big friggen' deal!

"Don't you want to buy something and say that you bought it at Gold and Silver Pawn?"
Hell,no.

It's a pawn shop,not Disneyland!

More sheep to the slaughter.
Tourists: gotta love 'em.

Watch them play the slots on the strip.
Sheep.
Rebecca Romney is the manager of Baumans Rare Books. Their Las Vegas store is in the Venetian shops and she can be seen there some times. The shop itself is absolutely incredible..almost like a small museum.

Steve Grad is the guy who authenticates sports autos. He also works for PSA grading, the preeminent sports card graders. He is considered perhaps the leading authority in the country when it comes to sports autos. Psacard.com

Johnnys toy shop and also the baseball card store are in the neonopolis complex, on the backside of where the heart attack grill is.
I caught the tail end of a Pawn Stars episode in which a man brought in a fairly large set of casino silver strike coins.

Rick was pointing out which ones had the higher silver content and which had the lower. There were quite a few of them, mounted in cases.

Sorry I didn't get more detail. There was the usual commotion going on in the house and I was trying to get everyone to shut up so I could hear the sale talk between Rick and the guy. Maybe...Rick either offered him $200 for the whole collection? Did anyone else see this? I may be wrong on that amount.

As always, the guy was dickering with Rick about his offer.

Did anyone else see this episode? I hope I catch the re-run of this episode.

I'd be curious what they worth as well. Also, IO couldn't help but giggle at your remark of trying to shut everyone up.It always seems to get loudest just when you're trying to hear something.
