Anything new regarding Lady Luck?

It's been a while since anyone has questioned the status of the Lady Luck. I know there was a flurry of news reports a few months ago, but has anything actually happened? With all of the other remodels and upgrades taking place, maybe this time something will actually take place. Or is that just wishful thinking?
