Just for the sake of accuracy......
The previous topic was posted 1/3/12 and titled:

Best Free Play and Easy
In response to my "Spam Alert" message in that thread:

Sorry gang, I have been a member on the pay side as well as the free side for over ten years.
I order the coupons for free play every trip I make. Upon completion of using the coupons I get a receipt. This link is on that receipt and it is a refer a friend link. There is no commission. If three people sign up you get your money back. I have always posted the link and I have received the money back like once.
It is not spam. For those of you out there like me that like to click on a link and get a good deal that was simply an attempt to make it easy. You can go through this link or go to the web site direct it is a great deal. Not sure what is up with the spam outrage but I have posted this numerous times on the pay side and we all see it as a favor not a scam?

I just used the link I posted above for the Palm's and the Trop....I will use them when I am out there next week. I was just trying to help as the 10% off with HAPPY2013 is over tomorrow.
I guess if you try and spread the news you get shot at some times! Good Luck my friends!
I'd like to reiterate that I have heard from others that these coupons were valid, easy to use, and a "good deal". As a casino "Ho" who will use, and perhaps abuse "good offers", these do appear to be worthwhile. If/when I next return to Vegas, or elsewhere where this offer is available, I would most likely purchase and use them. Yet, this is not relevant to whether this is a spam message.
My only objection to the topic, is the link being used. Again. IT IS A REFERRAL LINK. The current "referral deal" is that when the referral link is clicked on, the referrer receives "credit" for every 3 purchases in the amount of $25.00. There may, or may not be other arrangements, tiers, etc. I do not know, and do not care.
When previously "discussed", I thought the topic "done".
Than, 14 days later, it reappears as this thread. Now titled : "Not Spam Just a Great Deal"
WITH the same referral link included in the body of the message.
To me, this implies that the original poster thinks that "he/she" is special, may disrespect this forum and it's users by posting spam, and is entitled to post their referral link because they have been on the forum, and paid side, since 2002.
I strongly believe this type of message to be unacceptable, particularly when it was previously "discussed" 14 days previously!
IMHO, the writer has intentionally disrespected forum users by not "correcting" the link to a non referral link, and/or not editing the original message to eliminate the referral.
Perhaps, to paraphrase the original writer, when you try and spread the news you DESERVE to get shot at some times!
