Archimedes and his "soapbox"

Archimedes, why do you feel it necessary to continuously staunchly defend your opinions on "AP"? You should defend your position once or twice and move on. To keep pounding away day after day, post after post , likens you to a used car saleman.
You insulted my intelligence upon 2 occasions recently, wheher I understood basic math and if I believed in the Civil War. I defended my position by listing my credentials and moved on.
You remind me General Thomas"Stonewall" Jackson, you are a great tactician, but a horrible strategist.
I do admire your tenacity.
When you need some lessons on the Civil War, just ask.
Actually, I enjoy and appreciate Arc's responses. He's not stupid, though he does insult but probably does not intend to do so.

It's all in the delivery. Some most likely don't mean to offend others but often do.
How do you wish for him to respond to this thread?
A) defend his position so you can say "there he goes again"?
B) ignore you so you can say "he won't address you arguments"?

Did I ask him to defend his position?

Arc is very articulate, but we all "get it", Arc and other players like him make money "over time". They never lose "overtime".

Wow, you must be one really old dude. Fought with Jackson; wow. The secret of your longevity, please?

Never fought with him, just studied the War, the Generals, and their tactics.

As I've stated often, I respond in the same tone as the person I'm responding to. In many cases folks like you are basically calling me a liar. Well, do you really expect to get a nice reply?

I often use sarcasm to keep from typing what I really think. The Civil War comment was just such a case. You refused to accept your teachings on math to the obvious conclusion would be you'd do the same for other subjects ... like the Civil War. Of course, it's ridiculous, that's what sarcasm is supposed to be.

As for defending my "opinions on AP" ... It has nothing to do with opinions, it's math ... and not even difficult math.

I should have used the term "position" on advantage play, not "opinion".
The key phrase here is "over time". As in 101% payback "overtime".
Now, I have seen placards over a bank of machines that specify 101% payback. Is that over the life of the machine or is it"over time"?
