Are the Riviera's days numbered?

I'm only slightly taller than you at 6'2", and I know what you mean about low shower heads. I built a house some time ago and had the shower head raised about 6 inches from the builder's planned height. It was perfect.

If you aren't short, you literally have to aim the shower head upward to spray your face or wash your hair without bending over or squatting. I suspect the tubs have been over-laid multiple times without moving the shower pipes upward.

the "$40 for $20" promotion they would run. I figured if I'm going to spend $20 on junk to bring stuff back from the trip, why not? Never won any money but did get a couple of the jackets and some Super Bowl promo items one year that were really nice.

Please, they used those "special" machines where wining was like a 1 in 100,000.

Just wondering???? Did you ever read what I wrote???? I said, if there was something that I thought was worth a $20 "boobie prize", I'd do it. If they had crap, I wouldn't do it. I've passed it up more times than I did it.

I'm thinking the LVCVA figured other small properties/businesses close to the Riviera would follow suit and agree to sell to them for this huge project. The Peppermill disagrees. Their lease is good through 2027 and they don't plan on shutting down, no matter what happens to the Riviera. Good for them! I don't know if the LVCVA has the authority to use eminent domain to force the Peppermill out of business, but I'm sure we'll find out soon...

We aren't going away!
I'm only 55 years old. Who lives to 160 years of age?

My girlfriend at the time won $100 on the 40 for 20 promotion. She only did it once. We stayed there in early 90's, the package we had you could stay there or the Mirage. Since we had never heard of the Mirage we stayed there. We gambled more at Mirage then at the Riv. We stayed there a second time when we got a package for 3 nights for $200 that came with $200 in play once chips, two shows, four buffets and some drink tickets.
what will happen to the show "crazy girls"? Will it run until the closing?
That's "crazy talk"!

If the Riviera closes, where will Rusty (Mr. Pappageorgio) get his fake I.D.
