are there any check cashing promos this year?

Anyone know of any (tax return) check cashing promos going on this year?

I have a big tax return check that I would love to get some value out of.

I'm sure there are plenty of places around town that has some sort of check cashing gimmick. Usually they have a scratch card or spin some wheel.

El Cortez has given me 5% in the past.

I thought it was only for cashing Income Tax checks. I could very well be wrong about that. Anybody know?
