are you getting a tax refund?

are you getting a refund and what are you doing with it?
yes (I hope). Pay down debt.
The extra will allow me to quadruple book on my next trip. I'm going to be checked in all over town.

Yes. We going to San Diego for spring break. We leave next week.

Yes. Using it to pay property taxes.
I am getting an embarrassingly large refund. I feel like I attended the Jed Clampett School of Money Management.

Really missed the mark how much to withhold from paycheck all year. The energy tax credit, college tuition for my son and extra withholding I set up in 2009 to account for a five-digit gambling win that year and then never altered, led to severe overpayment in 2010.

well at least the mistake was in your favor.

Refund?? What's that? I usually owe the feds a little while the great state of CT owes me some. We usually net a couple of hundred.

LOVE the above idea!!!

I made an extra car payment and paid bills; gave some away to charity. Funny though, my refund was delayed because I missed the "making work pay" deduction. I filed online and the instructions made it sound like it was was already in my standard deduction. Got a letter stating they owed me $400 more and received that much more w/the direct deposit. Pretty sad that it's called "making work pay" as if I need incentive to work instead of being on the dole. Instead, how about creating jobs w/that money so people who want to work can???
Yes thats how were going on our trip in a few weeks. Iam going to do my part to help the economy out there.
the latest estimate I saw was that 54% of taxpayers are getting a refund this year.
