He held those women captive for years, but the coward couldn't take 34 days in solitary confinement.

My money would be on this scenario. Make no mistake about it, the inmates run the prison, solitary just makes it a little tougher to get to and Columbus is a pretty hard core prison.

He was housed alone. My money is on the guards, not other inmates, they would have beat him senseless and raped him. They would not care about covering it up to look like suicide.
