Arrests made in LA Dodgers beating case

Many many lives destroyed for wearing a visiting team jersey..WTF!!!! A-N-I-M-A-L-S!!!
The man's family filled suit on the Dodger's today. The suit is based on the fact that the team did a piss poor job in handling security on the stadiums grounds.

I hope they get at least 50 million.

Did they do a piss poor job? Security can't be everywhere. We live in such a nanny society where we need/want someone to watch out for us to protect us from the bad guys.

Put the bad guys in prison and enforce the second amendment.

I understand that security cannot be everywhere but evidently they did if you read the article on ESPN.com. It was alledged that Dodger management knew of the increased amounts of fights due to gang members and actually decided to cut back on security.

Actually, no. I didn't read the article. I assumed this was just random fan violence and couldn't understand why LAPD sent in the SWAT team. Now I understand. What I don't understand is why the solution is to increase security to due known threats and not to remove these known threats from society. Put/keep these animals in prison.

Obviously cutting back on security is not right, either, since the criminal justice system won't lock up the dangerous people. The Dodgers, from what I've read, are struggling financially but if they can afford to pay a baseball play millions per season, they can afford to pay for some security people, too.

Dodgers management and LAPD brass has been aware of the problem for at least 6 years. Previous LAPD personnel that were supervising the officers who worked the stadium security detail have made both Dodgers and LAPD upper management aware of the problem since at least 2004. If the attorney's for Stow's family have any sense, they will subpoena documents and testimony from these supervisors.

Anyway, even if they weren't internally aware, they are really really negligent dumb people cause there is videos all over youtube of these fights including this one.....and keep in mind the guys in the dark blue uniforms are actual LAPD officers.....

Assault on LAPD officers at Dodger stadium
I heard on the radio that Barry Bonds has set up a fund to pay for the victims kids college expenses. I'm far from a fan of his but i appauld his actions in this.
The lighting is the same lighting from the 60's. The head of security at Dodger Stadium was released months ago and never replaced. It took over ten minutes for a Dodger security person to reach the scene when they were called.

There has been a growing problem with gangs at Dodger Stadium over the last decade and the Dodgers never tried to do anything about it.

I think this case has better than a 50/50 chance of being won by the plaintiff.

Read that too-- WTF? Cops and judges do their jobs to what?.. no avail...
WHO IS RUNNING THE ASYLUM???
Barry Bonds has offered college scholarships to Stow's two young children.

He may have taken steroids and all, but this is a classic case of human redemption. Good for you, Barry!
