ARRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!!

That was the sound heard by all the books in Vegas when the Pittsburgh got that last touchdown and made the game a push.

NBC Commenter Al Michaels commented on the meaningless touchdown being important to some in the TV audience. DonDiego enjoys when the broadcasters do something naughty like referring to the forbidden topic of sports betting. Perhaps "rebellious" is a better term than "naughty".

Too bad the Steelers struggle with field goals. 2 missed with no wind.

Poor old DonDiego has Mr. Scobee on a Fantasy Football Team.

I don't know how Big Ben threw that ball so accurately for the last touchdown. That receiver was well covered.
I had taped the game (is that an outdated term now?, I guess I should say recorded now since VCR's are no longer relevant) so Mrs. J and I could watch it tonight. Man it's tough to go through the day and not see anything in the media about the game, and I'm a news hound. I saw the start of some headlines before I quickly looked away or flipped the "page" but I got the gist of who won.

It was really interesting that the Steeler headsets suddenly switched to a local radio station, even the announcers made a little something of it. I'm pretty convinced the Pats have been cheating in one way or another since Belichick took over. Too bad really, Kraft had built a first class operation and now I've lost all respect for the entire orginazation, including Kraft, I doubt I'm the only one. Sure there will be a lot of haters who hate them more now, but even tho they've been the Steelers bain? bane? for the Steelers, I always had respect for 'em. No more. There entire run has been blemished and an asterisk should be placed beside all their SB championships.

I pretty much knew how this game would end up, I figured Beady would pick our DB's apart. They suck. I was kinda pissed that the Steelers didn't pass as much as they should've, run first and second down, pass on third, gimme a break. They finally have a pretty elite passing game and they didn't use it. I knew the only way we had a chance to win was put pressure on Brady and air the ball out. I don't remember seeing any knock downs or even any hurry's, pretty piss poor for a front seven full of mostly first and high round draft picks. I can't beleive they haven't addressed the backfield at all, they royally blow. If this team is going to go anywhere, the pressure on the QB better pick up and the offense better open it up as well, that'll be the only way the Steelers make the playoffs this year, otjerwise I'm in for a long season and that'll really suck.
I just saw this article and the guy(Belickick) has the balls to deny any wrongdoings ever, this from a guy who in 2000? , when first accused(and caught) of cheating stood up in an owner/head coach meeting and said he was sorry and had "misinterpreted" the rules. Kraft gave some heartfelt speech too about integrity of the game. I would say Kradft meant it at the time but I digress.

"...Tomlin's clenched-jaw postgame news conference gave new life to league-wide suspicion that something sinister is at work whenever something goes wrong against the Patriots. After describing the problem with the headsets on Thursday night, Tomlin told reporters, ''That's always the case.''

From Tomlins post game interview,

''Here?'' he was asked.

''Yes,'' Tomlin said.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick responded on Friday that ''it's just not right'' for opponents and their fans to attribute the team's success - six trips to the Super Bowl, and four NFL titles - to dirty tricks involving videotaping, deflated footballs and now headsets..."
