Back after a long time

Hi All,

I had put LV and all things gambling on a side for a while, job changes and such.

I am looking to visit this year, mid-december like I did in 2007,2008 when crowds are low and prices are great. Just started to look for good room deals (Dec 15th - 17th) and any input would be appreciated.

I used to be an LVA Subscriber for 4 years, but not anymore so don't have major coupons.

Mirage for $110 for both nights including resort fee. (plus tax)

Downtown - The Plaza downtown is recently renovated and very clean again. Rooms can be had near the $20 range.

Strip - Riviera is dirt cheap right now and they have made improvements to many of their rooms. If you want something more luxurious for cheap try the Mirage. I'd say they are the best value of the big mid-range resorts on the strip.

Off strip - Eastside Cannery, Sunset Station, and the Silverton would be my top 3 places with nice rooms for very cheap prices...and great casinos to boot.
