Back on USA soil w/ Cuban cigars

I think their Cuban cigars. One of my drivers, Babu, gave me some cigars without bands. They smell and look Cuban. Aroma and mild taste like a Jose Piedro Nacionale. For all I know they might have been Saudi cigars. Made it through Customs, no problemo.

Company flew me home business class on Qatar. sweeeeeet for a 15 hour flight. In the lounge chair next to mine was a Pakistani. It was evident he was traveling with two others, they sat in other areas of business class. One would come back and get into an heated argument with my neighbor. He would turn in a huff and march back to his seat. This happended several times and one or both would get the 3rd one, who was engrossed in watching the movie "Cars 2" involved with the heated discussion. I think he just wanted get back to his movie. I don't speak Pakistani, In my vivid mind, I was sure they were saying, "Should we set off the bomb now or later". We landed in Houston, I said a little prayer.

Returning home, after being absent for 3 months, I realize my marriage is dissolving. 26 years of raising 4 kids and 6 grandkids, and I'm really sad. Several things, too many to mention, but it's not good. One thing, wife gave our 19 year old, tattooed, college drop out, rock and roll band lead guitarist son, who I love dearly, my credit card. One good thing, after viewing my monthly statement, the National Debt appears a lot smaller.

I've got to make a life changing decision and I'm torn. I brought up a Vegas trip and she's not interested. I did get a call from a realator in Bull Head City, who've I had contact with. She's found me, what she thinks is a good investment in Mohave. Sorry to ramble, I,ve got a lot on my mine.
Ramble away cjen,no problem. I'm sorry to hear about your issues,i certainly hopw whatever you decisions you make are the ones that work out best for all invovlved. Good luck cjen.

Being away from home is not a good thing for many marriages. My wife hates when I travel for even 1 night. And then I booked a business trip on our anniversary. Put me in the doghouse big time.

But, you just got back home. Give things time to adjust and then see how things are. You wife might be feeling like you abandoned her and you're back home like it was no big deal. My wife is clingy and she would be very depressed and upset if I took a overseas assignment. She would say things like, "If you really loved me, you'd find a job that let you stay at home." "If I'm going to be alone, what is the point of being married?" "Being married to you when you're overseas is the worst of both worlds; I can't go out with my single friends because I'm married but yet I sleep alone every night."

Don't try to counter with logic that she knew this was your life before you got married or any other logical stuff. It won't work.

Maybe I'm overly romantic but maybe your wife just wants you to be home with her. Take her to dinner and a movie. And don't expect any nookie until she's ready.
