BACK

Just returned from a business/pleasure meeting in Vegas. Had three nights at Sunset Station (pleasure) then 4 nights at South Point (work).
Was unable to get over to Suncoast to check out their AYCE Tacos and Margaritas but did have some excellent meals at the steak house at South Point and the Mexican place at Sunset.
I do need to mention that the staff at Sunset must have been given some special training or something. They all absolutely fell over themselves trying to serve or help you. The wait staff at the restaurants was the best I've ever had, for all 5 meals we ate there for.
The VP machines at Sunset were very generous with me. I hit 4 aces several times including once when I held a K and drew 4 aces. No RF though. Still haven't hit one in almost 20 years now.
The VP at South point was not so nice, but I made up for my losses at the poker room. Love the spa there. Every chance i could get I ran in there for a relaxing soak and steam. Love it.
If i get some time I'll write up a few interesting experiences. Problem is, I came home to a budget mess at work. Will be working long hours the next few weeks. Will dream of our next trip in December.
nuggetboy, All of the build up about those freaking tacos and margs and you give us nothing?? LOL.
As I said before I left, that Wednesday was a working day. Believe me, no one was more disappointed in being in a meeting until 6:00 on Wednesday than I.
I would have been much happier downing some margaritas than reviewing a VERY depressing five year outlook.
The only thing that made it tolerable was the fact that I'll be retired within five years.

I can give you a report on the 42 oz. Big Papi margarita at the Guadalajara Grill at Sunset. Go for the "upgrade". It's only a few dollars more and much smoother.
If you are flying, be sure to save room in your carry on for the glass (or glasses), it's a keeper.

Thanks. Hitting Vegas in late June and was hoping you'd hit that special. Sorry about your meeting.
