Bad News for the Nevada Housing Market

I agree with the currency crash part of blackjesus statement. Money is just paper though. Property, metals are real assets. Part II of this recession will be coming in soon, and it will be crzy ugly--this artificial printing of money is forestalling what is coming and will probably make it worse.

real estate is better than cash but it will go down in value in real terms.rates will be so high that prices have to crash. unless we have hyperinflation like zimbabwe, real estate will lose. sure, if i knew 3 years from now 300k will have the value of 1k in todays dollar, i would buy a 300k house and pay it off with 2 weeks work 3 years from now, but i dont know how bad the inflation will be. it depends what the politicians do when things are really bad. bottom line is this clarence thomas clone in the white house is clueless, and to bet on him by buying a house is foolish at this stage.

to LVrealestatehelp: how cheap are high rise condos? I appreciate the 150k number on houses, but at my age I cant landscape, cut lawns, rake rocks for desert landscaping or buy green bananas. so a condo is what Im interested in.

PokerWanye has previously posted that he was trying to get his bank to agree to a loan mod, more than likely he has a 3 or 5 yr ARM, which means he got greedy and overspent. He refuses to honor his contact yet still manages to go to Vegas.
It's those types of loans that single handedly destroyed this economy, and lets remember one thing, nobody held a gun to his head when he signed on.
