Ballys Atlantic City Drink Service.

Just returned from a one night stay in Atlantic City. Bally's has it set up to order drinks right from your machines. I did not see this at any of the other Casinos I visited in AC or Vegas. The drink service was fast and worked out well. I think they should all use this system.
Really?
I assumed that was a plesebo to apease us while we played...
it works?!>?

I was also at Showboat when a lady came by to "take " our drink ordered- she tapped it into a phone which went to the bar and another server brought it to us- which i thought was brilliant and progressive.
Laughlin Harrahs was using Ipads last time I stayed there to order your drinks for you. And I know Ricon and Ak-chin use the built in screen at your machine.

I thought they said at one time that they were going to roll them out at all the Ceasers places. I think the tablets like the I pad are a real smart idea. Probably see a lot more places use them for orders in the future, And not just casinos.
I think given a choice I'd be pushing the drink button more often than the deal button.

I think I'd end up like the fat lab rat, always getting food and doing nothing. Except with drinks.
Are the drinks linked to your Total Rewards account or is it just a convenience?

2 weeks ago at the Taj, the CW kept bringing the rounds to the table without having to take orders. It was very nice.
At Rincon and Ak-Chin you can't get comped alcohol because they NA casinos but you can get any other soft drink or juice. (except in the Diamond Lounge) It is linked to your card because you can pull up all kinds of info and download FP with the codes they send you in the mail. Once in a while a special offer will pop up such as 2for1 dinners in the steak house or 3000 bonus points and I've had free rooms pop up a couple of times.

How does it work-is there a "cocktails" button and a drink menu or what?
