Ballys north vs south towers

My wife and I will be staying at ballys for our trip and we never stayed at ballys but we did the paris last time. My question is which tower is connected to the casino and which would have a better view of the strip especially the chance to see the fountains? Thanks in advance.
both towers are connected to the casino. The elevators to North are in the back off the lobby. The elevators to South are in the front by Nosh. North Tower rooms are nicer and the decor is newer. South Tower has the better view. Some of the south tower rooms are overlooking the fountains and some face away, so you can't guarantee that view. You can ask when you check in, but they won't "hold" that view for you upon request.
I haven't stayed there in a long time, but the North rooms were night and day nicer (decor) than the ones in the South tower. I don't know if they have remodeled the South rooms since then?
I have stayed in the North Tower with a partial view of the Bellagio fountains. If you would rather stay in a room with furniture and carpet over 20 years old and have a chance to see the fountains from your room instead of just venturing across the street to see them, stay in the South Tower. If a decent room is more important than the view, North Tower. I wouldn't stay in the South Tower for anything.

I will say this about having a room with a fountain view, several times I have stayed at Caesars with a Bellagio fountain view. But not once have I seen the fountains from my room after dark. I am never in my room between sundown and the time the fountains stop. So unless you hang out in your room in the evening, the fountain view really doesn't add all that much

Thanks to all for the info we are going to be out looking for chef celebrities lol since this coming weekend is the bon appetite vegas uncorked. We have stayed at the paris and the venetian but this trip is all about the location so thanks all and Karen we never get a great view of the strip so my wife and I will just deal with the south tower for this trip.
We upgraded to a South Tower suite last year. It was like a giant room with bed and bath combined. I didn't like it but my wife did. The South Tower is perpendicular to the strip so if you get a room on the Paris side, you get a great view of Paris and if you crane your neck to the right, you can see the fountains.
North tower is much nicer than the south tower
I love the view of Paris from the South Tower rooms. But now I always request an upgrade to the North Tower even if I have to use the $20 trick. The only bad thing about the south tower rooms is the "swap meet reject" furniture.
As pointed out on earlier posts in this thread, unless you are 100% you'll get a full view of the Bellagio fountains, I would not stay in the south tower. There are many rooms in the south tower that have little to no view of the fountains, but yet have the old furniture, old carpet and old everything else.
