Bally's Restaurant closures

After reading the Seven Star Insider (no, I'm not 7*) and checking Bally's website, it appears that the Sidewalk Cafe and the Tequila Bar have closed.
I am not going to miss the Tequila Bar, but I liked the Sidewalk Cafe. We liked the California Club and the express breakfast buffet--prices were reasonable.
Apparently, CET is outsourcing nearly all of their eateries.

I'll miss the Tequila Bar. Two Dollar Tacos and Two Dollar Tequila Shots...'nuff said.

Yes both places were great! To bad to see them go!

I quietly mourn the Sidewalk Cafe as well. Breakfast was always awesome. We had many, many good memories there over the past 20 years.

Nothing ever stays the same for very long in LV, especially at CET properties. Sidewalk was a good place for breakfast. When we ate there last month they had closed half the seating area and there was a long line waiting to get in. We thought this was very odd. They were probably laying off the servers and were understaffed.

I'm wondering if they will be relocated in that new area in front of Bally's that has been under construction for months ?

I don't think so. I read the list of shops and didn't see that posted.

I never frequented the Sidewalk Café in all these years. I did hit Tequila Bar, but found it only OK. I wasn't fortunate enough to hit the place during $2 tacos and $2 tequila nights.

The $2 Tacos weren't great, but after a few $2 Tequilas it didn't matter.

$2 anything on the strip is good!
