One need not be concerned for poor old DonDiego's safety. He's well situated on Tomato Ranch Ridge and possesses defensive weaponry to defend his homestead. And as far as he knows he hasn't offended anyone who knows where he lives sufficiently to justify an assault.

regardless of how you feel about Obama, more police are being shot, more race baiting protestors are on the street, and more people are dissatisfied with the state of race relations in this country.

as a half white, half black president he should have done better.

I don't know why these oarticular officers were killed, but my sympathy goes out to their families. being in law enforcement is a really tough job now.

Somehow I'm capable of feeling empathy for the families of both murdered cops and murdered black victims without digging my heels into the trenches of a race war. And I can also point the finger of blame at the perpetrators in both instances. I attribute that ability to a life free of right wing propaganda.

Note how the FOX news mob on this board can attribute blame in once instance but need to "wait to get all the facts" before attributing blame in the other. They also support stop and frisk laws that profile by race. But don't call them racist. THey really hate that almost as much as black people.

How does pjstroh "feel" about Gavin Eugene Long ?

I think he's total scum. Or I can put it this way - I have much more contempt towards Eugene Long than Don Diego has demonstrated toward any white cop that's murdered people in recent years (weeks). I'm measuring that by the number of defcon-5 threads like this one that DonDIego authored in the wake of those incidents.

pjstroh and DonDiego share the identical opinion on Mr. Long.

The remainder of pjstroh's post suggests that he is trying to hurt poor old DonDiego's feelings.
For the record DonDiego opposes unjustified violence against citizens by the Police. He supports harsh punishment of such offenders upon conviction.

"Defcon-5" seems like an overestimation of DonDiego's modest threads.
