Baton Rouge: 7 Police Officers Shot, 3 Killed

PJ, just tell us all.....how do you know that there was a murder committed? Were you there? IF there was a murder (or murders) let's get the guilty convicted! I'm all for it. But I do think that everyone deserves a fair trial.

PJ has been wrong before on such matters......Yes, I will wait for the facts to come in.
Obama promised to mend race relations. Race relations are worse. Obama did not perform as he promised. Why do certain people continue to cover up this president misgivings?

If you get to blame Obama, I get to blame your hero Bush.
It makes same amount of sense as your statement does.

Also next time I get a speeding ticket I'm blaming Boilerman.

I'm so old I remember when republicans were all about "personal responsibility", sigh.....

Or I can put it this way - I have much more contempt towards Eugene Long than Don Diego has demonstrated toward any white cop that's murdered people in recent years (weeks).

Of all the high profile incidents in recent years not one cop has been convicted of murder. Most of the time they haven't even been indicted.

Blame smartphones. Police lynchings are now regularly being recorded on video for all to see, and they provide inspiration for some of the sickest members of our society. This was utterly predictable.

And right after these sickos, the most dangerous thing for good cops is.....bad cops - and an American society that refuses to fire, prosecute, and imprison them.

Eugene Long has not been convicted of anything either....but I don't have a problem rendering an opinion based upon video taped evidence. And neither do you..

You should ask yourself why you have a much higher standard of proof when a white cop shoots an unarmed black man in the back.
You claim cops are murdering blacks, but you cannot provide any proof of that or a response to my earlier post below. Footnote - another Baltimore cop was acquitted today

"Of all the high profile incidents in recent years not one cop has been convicted of murder. Most of the time they haven't even been indicted. "

The difference in these cases is that the blacks are hunting down the cops. There are no cases of cops hunting down blacks. In all of the high profile cases it has been a thug resisting arrest.

And still nobody can explain why the blm does not protest blacks killing blacks. And if you bring up the subject you are considered a racist.

You guys will blame anything but the obvious. Last week it was cops in riot gear, this week it is cell phones. We have a media & activist idiots that convicts the cops of murder & incite unrest in these high profile killings before any of the true facts come out

You prove my above point. You want them convicted even though the facts don't present any proof of guilt. Maybe it is because they are found innocent.

When cops do bad things they get the appropriate punishment.

In May 2015 Baltimore's top prosecutor, Marilyn J. Mosby, announced charges against six police officers in the death of Mr. Freddie Gray, who had been arrested for carrying an illegal switchblade.

So far:
__Officer William G. Porter trial ended with a hung jury in december 2015.
__Officer Edward M. Nero was acquitted in May 2016 of second-degree assault and three other charges.
__Officer Caesar R. Goodson Jr., the driver of the police van, was acquitted in June 2016 of second-degree murder and six other charges.
__Lt. Brian Rice was acquitted of involuntary manslaughter and two other charges in July 2016.
__Trials of Officer Garrett E. Miller and Sgt. Alicia White are pending.
__Officer William G. Porter is awaiting a retrial.

So officers charged with murder and manslaughter and assault have been tried and acquitted.

hoops2 is correct: no one has yet been convicted.

What would hoops2 suggest ? Double/multiple jeopardy until they are convicted? A dunking pool to see if they sink?

Or accepting the verdict as rendered in accordance with The Law?
