Haven't experienced them myself but my SIL's brother is a pilot for a major airline. He had a layover in Kansas City. KS. It was a high end airport hotel. He woke up in the middle of the night being bitten by bed bugs. He said the sheets were dotted with blood spots. He put on a sweat suit and headed for the lobby to complain. He tossed his flight bag and all his clothes. The hotel manager said he would be reimbursed for his clothes and flight bag. He didn't pilot his flight as he had no uniform. He wen't to a local men's shop and bought enough clothes to get home. After a bunch of promises he never did get reimbursed for anything. He and his wife had just moved into a new home and he wasn't about to bring bed bugs home.
